      @joemag_games The sensation of sitting down, watching the beginning of that movie, and having the strong sensation that I had missed an installment somewhere - because there was absolutely no continuity. To be fair, I felt much the same way w/ TLJ. At least TLJ had some gorgeous sequences.

        @DKorfe I came around on TLJ, at least it had a point of view and was trying something new and coherent. And yes, it was stunning to look at, that throne room fight is probably the best sequence in the whole trilogy.

          @joemag_games My biggest beef with TLJ continues to be just how impossibly boring the whole thing is - slow-build training arc, slow-speed space chase, pointless casino world plot, absurdly one-sided siege sequence. It’s all just disposable, but occasionally beautiful, set pieces.

            @DKorfe @joemag_games I liked TLJ but TLJ and TROS make each other worse by existing together.
