@imik_plays Imagine it costing something like 5 mana. It would maybe make the card playable ? So sad the Hearthstone team doesn't try to make somme old cards viable again 😢

@MawksHS Yeah, exactly my thought. There are so many cool designs that could find a niche play in certain decks, but they are not willing to buff them a bit, which is a huge mistake in my opinion. :/

@imik_plays @hsdecktech @GallonHS you guys should consider this tweet ! I don't think we are the only ones thinking the same

@MawksHS @hsdecktech @GallonHS Nicholas can't do anything about it. In some previous Iksar AMA's he told us that they don't want to do that because it has almost no benefit. I think @themattlondon teased that they are working on something cool, though. Could be an expansion "mini-set" with some buffs as well.

@imik_plays @hsdecktech @GallonHS @themattlondon I don't think the statement "it has no benefit" is true. Making the game more fun makes people stay or come back on it, and thus more people buy in the shop. If they believe only skins are profitable, they are making a huge mistake.

@MawksHS @imik_plays @GallonHS @themattlondon Obviously he would agree that making fun cards is meaningful! What Iksar said was more along the lines of, if you take cards that nobody is playing and make them marginally better, but not enough better that they see play, then still nobody plays them and there’s no real effect.

@MawksHS @imik_plays @GallonHS @themattlondon That means if you do buffs to unplayable cards, you need to make them good—which risks making them too good. There’s a tiny window for success there and a huge margin for error. And many of the cards we’re talking about (like Boogeyman) aren’t even the most interesting cards.

@MawksHS @imik_plays @GallonHS @themattlondon Team dev time is a limited resource, and they’ve found it’s generally more efficiently used working on cool new designs instead of buffs to old cards that nobody plays.
