I don't understand why people can't figure this one out. I've said this before but for board to matter as much as people want it to matter (which I don't even think is that interesting or good for the game), what needs to decline isn't "OTK"'s. It's removal. https://t.co/xVL3GLpSJJ

@ZachODR mostly agree when removal cards are more abundant than endgame threats, it's better to run card combos that ignore removal or find infinite or near infinite resource generation

@ZachODR hard to achieve overnight, means we have to make many endgame threats over time, and 7+ mana cards that don't end the game when they aren't answered are really hard to get people to play

@ZachODR more likely we can achieve in a rotation set through printing nearly 0 endgame removal, mass nerfs, and a mass of cairne or rag-like engame

@IksarHS @ZachODR I don’t think people would actually want this. It’s like if yugioh players say they want to go back to playing 1 card a turn… nobody actually wants that they just want their opponents to do that.

@Impact_onfire @ZachODR yeah, definitely unclear if it's a good idea The biggest benefit (to me) isn't a metagame shift so much as its we get to make more 7+ mana fatties that don't end the game but still see play. Those cards are exciting, they are just currently very hard to make.
