The new and returning player decklists have also been updated. The lists look really solid this time around. Remember, with 24.0, players can now claim these each time they’re a returning player, instead of just once per account! https://t.co/M5IRnPehwu

@hsdecktech Cool thanks for the update! Kinda interesting none of the decks have Murder cards in them (unless I missed it). Weird timing if the meta will be changed in a few days with 135 new cards? Or maybe these decks will still be good regardless?

@ben_heathstone @hsdecktech The decks never have any cards from the latest expansion. They are always updated in the x.0 patch with cards from the previous expansion.

@Old_GuardianHS @ben_heathstone Yeah, this is the normal cadence now. The intent is to give players something that’s proven to be solid enough to be able to just jump onto the ladder, while also not undercutting the new expansion launch.

@Old_GuardianHS @hsdecktech Ok I hadn’t noticed that. Seems like you’d be better served getting a deck that isn’t outdated a week after receiving it, but hey it’s free! And that’s a lot of dust. 😜

@ben_heathstone @Old_GuardianHS @hsdecktech these are also refined meta decklists for the current expansion, which is a somewhat significant departure from what they've done before - and in a good way

@RidiculousHat @ben_heathstone @hsdecktech They have done meta decks before, but then they just stopped and reduced the quality. I have videos analyzing every batch they've released, and I recommended some decks for Legend climbs. But not recently.

@Old_GuardianHS @ben_heathstone @hsdecktech there were a few where the meta decks didn't have enough legendaries so they shoehorned some in - and there are a couple weird cards here in a couple lists - but many of these are just straight up meta decks

@RidiculousHat @Old_GuardianHS @ben_heathstone @hsdecktech We loosely try to keep dust totals in a similar range so there isn't a "wrong" deck to pick value-wise. This sometimes means including some not 100% optimal legendaries to up overall value. But the goal is definitely to give players viable meta decks from the last set.

@hsdecktech The description for the Hunter one seems to be wrong. “Overwhelm your opponent with a combination of Wildseeds and damage spells to push for an early victory!”

@sdjnl Right you are, thanks! They probably grabbed the one for the wrong recipe. I’ll update.
