Often we use a teaser crop of the card image to hype up card reveals, but this time we chose to let you know when certain classes would be revealed. Did you like this change? https://t.co/Va93MlWPsk

@JordanMGs haha! we almost went with the Mercs logo for the Mercs reveals but thought those would be more fun as crops.

When we were chatting through this change we considered content creators that wait for some of the late/early reveals because they don't know if the card will be part of their favorite class. Creators like @DracoCatt and @SidisiTV came to mind. Is it helpful to know class + when?

@alkali_layke @DracoCatt @SidisiTV Knowing when the class was going to be revealed was very helpful also 😂 https://t.co/bAi6GobMbG

@alkali_layke I think the crops are always fun, but perhaps the class tag could be included?

@JaredPullet Ooooh interesting. Not as easy for the team on new expansions (lots of cards) but a good thought

@alkali_layke Honestly I actually enjoyed this way better. And having the whole class get revealed at once. I found it more enjoyable when I knew every card the class was getting so I can take it all in and digest it all at once. I was more excited with this way than I am with the other way.

@alkali_layke The only change I would make would be to reveal all the legendaries at once after the other cards. Because a lot of times it's the legendary that brings it all together. And seeing the legendary without the sub cards leads to wow this legendary's bad feeling.

@JNytemarePierce In this example, the legendaries told the story & the presentation wouldn't have been the same without them first. The lore behind WoW is one of the reasons people love Hearthstone so much (even though we have our own lore now). Without the story telling it wouldn't be the same

@alkali_layke i hope the structure for this reveal season is replicated for future seasons. timed class reveals with advance notice worked well and gave time to digest. legendaries first made sense too. really dig it

@RidiculousHat @alkali_layke I hope they greatly condense reveal season for expansions. Nathrias was so unnecessarily long I sort of checked out until all the cards were out.

@mattmatthudson @RidiculousHat Sometimes timing is trickier than we'd like.
