A convo @AlecoGereco and I had recently — and don’t look too deeply into this — was about the prevalence of Hearthstone decks that require one specific card to win the game. Lose that one card, you lose the game. Should people build fewer glass cannons?

@themattlondon @AlecoGereco I feel this is more a systematic issue with Hearthstone and not in issue of people building glass cannons. I think the legendary design of often having a build-around component and lack of tutors (although a part of the charm) foster an environment that encourages this.

@Tabayrak @AlecoGereco Singleton issue That’s true. There was a thread recently about a similar phenomenon in commander. More tutors would make this worse, though, no?

@themattlondon @AlecoGereco It probably does, the way I look at it though with more enabling cards that would allow players to try to pop off a tutor rather than holding the peice. My thoughts a little further the more control you have over when you hold/play your card the less likely you will just lose it.
