        @Baron_Chronus Ill rattle off the first couple questions in my head: 1. Can enemies path thru ? 2. See thru them? 3. Do they close automatically 4. can the player get stuck 5. are there keys and locks? 6. do keys spawn in your inventory? 7. consumable or reusable keys? 8. block projectiles?

          @Baron_Chronus 9. How does pathing work if enemy is too big? 10. do you click to close? does your angle matter? 11. do you weld set pieces thru them? 12. can you see lights thru them? 13. can your engine even do that? 14. do we use terrain or objects for the building the door sits in?

How big is the door vs player? 16. are the doors appropriately sized narratively to fit the things that live there? what if the player doesnt fit? why are the doors big enough for a tauren if its a place for gnomes? 18. can you break the door with damage? 19. how can u tell

                @Baron_Chronus doors often also occlude objects so that your PC/device/console doesnt explode. So theres the performance question of how much stuff you can put in the rooms and what you have to block with doors. Then... how about mobile vs pc?? Just constantly asking these questions

                  @candacerthomas @Baron_Chronus Also, should you be able to see UI through them like character names and nameplates, and if so, does that ruin or enhance the experience? Still traumatized from being a wow UI eng and not being able to fix people clicking on nameplates through pillars 😂

                      @candacerthomas @mfschweitzer @Baron_Chronus If the doors open/close, do they swing open/closed? Or slide? What happens if someone's in the way when it tries to close? Suppose they slide in from the side...

                        @candacerthomas @mfschweitzer @Baron_Chronus ...what happens if a clever level designer places one, rotated 90degrees so now it rises out of the ground? Can you stand on it as it closes? What if they do this but make it a really fat door, and stretch it REAAALLLY tall? Have they made an elevator? Can you path on it? Fight?

                          @candacerthomas @mfschweitzer @Baron_Chronus What if they leave it coming in sideways, lay it flat on the ground, but remove one side of the door frame, and set the door closing speed *really* high? Have they made a piston that they can hit players with to launch them a long distance?
