TLDR: They fixed the camera motion (thank god), and added more controller layouts (probably thank god). https://t.co/1UhZFgj2WM

Update: the 3 new control layouts seem to be the same as the original 3, with Square and L2 swapped. I think. It’s hard to compare. Anyway, [PlayStation Home > Settings > Accessibility > Controller] lets you customize controller button assignments at a system-wide level. I now… https://t.co/yZqo9Ui53d

@Celestalon I found D to be just A with square and R1 swapped, which was the BIGGEST complaint. so many people always go for circle to dodge cause it’s just that way in literally all games, but C was bad cause it moved attack to shoulders, which again all other games used square and triangle

@MysticalOS Every action game I’ve played puts basic attacks on the triggers/bumpers, so B was the only possible option for me.

@MysticalOS (B is the one with attacks on the shoulders, not C)

@Celestalon I couldn’t remember what put it on shoulders, just that it was only one that had evade at circle, so it was unacceptable trade off if you played like any recent assassins creed, witcher 3 or even zelda which all basically follow right button evade left button attack formula

@MysticalOS I have played none of those, heh. God of War, Horizon (or even all shooters are a reasonable comparison). Putting your most common actions on buttons that you can hit without taking your fingers off of aiming/moving seem like a really obvious thing to me.
