BlizzCon'18 Virtual Ticket skin idea

If OW players can get cool skin for their VT, HotS players should get something like that... instead of another glowing mount

Here's my idea. Feast your eyes

This skin idea is super fun! Made me laugh.

If we were to do a skin like this for Blizzcon the 35 working days between now and then isn't enough time to get a skin + FX Models + FX + techArt + Animations + the work that needs to get done to let you guys know about it and put it into the live build and QA testing + any iteration on problems we find during the last 10% of this process done. Generally it can take about 4 to 6 months to get a single skin through the pipeline. More if you want to count the actual man hours. But most of the time we can have a couple artists working on the FX models and skin model in an overlapping time frame. Some of the FX can overlap the tech art and Animation time. Depending on what we want to do FX could be dependent on Animation. Animation is always dependent on tech art and tech art is dependent on the artists. Sometimes the order you put the ingredients in matters to the outcome of the cake.

All that to say this Blizzcon is coming in fast and I hope you guys join us in person or the virtual ticket. I'm excited for it!

But if 9 women can make a baby in 1 month, 6 artists can get a skin done in time for Blizzcon :P

If you can figure out how to make that happen my producer would love to talk to you. Scientists too maybe.

I cant tell if this is you saying the VT item hasnt been made yet and so you have 35 days to make the generic mount. In any case, it does hopefully mean you're down to making a dope skin for next year ;p

TLDR: Any asset we've made for Blizzcon should be done by now so that QA can have their way with it and we can react to Bugs.

As a fellow game dev.. I know the pain haha

Sweet! It has been my experience that most people don't know what it takes to get something in game. It can be different from project to project because of various factors. I try to let people know what it is like on Heroes when I see an opportunity. :)
