Great guide! All the explanations of mindset and larger strategy are much appreciated. I would love to see more guides like this for various maps and heroes.
I have a tangential question. At the beginning you mention that Zeratul has "isolation tools". Are you referring to using VP to "isolate" the remaining heroes not in the VP? If something else, can you explain?
Yeah so for example, when kerrigan goes in, if zeratul VP's the back line and they just mosh the kerrigan while we watch in tears. Zera is great at isolating melee assassins.
I'm curious... I've almost universally seen people pick Jailors at 4, why did you choose Trag'Oul?
The few times I played Xul I never really noticed any mana problem unless in a very prolonged team fight
When you are going to be in the "split-soak/pressure" mode most of the game, mana is a great choice because it means you're always ready to rotate and fight. Jailors is still a strong option and very good against skillshots they can catch (like Li-Ming) + giving you the bonus heal when they spawn.
Thank you so much for making this. Independent of Xul advice, I found your explanation of the map, choices you made and why, and communication with the team really helped. A lot of tidbits in here I did not know. I enjoyed the video thoroughly!
That's awesome to hear! I plan on doing more in this format too.

Agreed, thought it was rip in pepperonis when the mosh denied the kill.. One slippery zergy.
