How about changing the description of Shield Overload from:

If you take damage while below 75% Health, gain a 375 point Shield for 5 seconds. Your Basic Attacks lower the cooldown of Shield Overload by 4 seconds.

    to:

After taking damage while below 75% Health, gain a 375 point Shield for 5 seconds. Your Basic Attacks lower the cooldown of Shield Overload by 4 seconds.

Shield Overload will activate to absorb fatal damage if it is ready.

in order to communicate this behavior more clearly?

    Sure, we'll take a look.

I'm really sorry for replying with something unrelated.

There is a small graphical bug that is detrimental to the gameplay of Gazlowe and Tychus that hasn't been fixed in the three client updates since the bug popped up. As a Gazlowe and Tychus lover its incredibly frustrating and we're now into the second month of no range indicators.

Literally any reply would be appreciated if for no other reason than to know someone there is aware that this is a thing, even it is is intended (but not in any patch notes.)

Will be fixed after the holidays, sorry for the delay!

Have they acknowledged Artanis's shielding bug yet? That seemed to be contributing quite a bit to his lack of survivability.

    Hey guys, the intention is:

    • Artanis takes damage, and loses Health or Shielding
    • If Shield Overload is off cooldown, Artanis gains a Shield after the damage has been done

I did some investigation to be sure that we didn't change anything, and Artanis' has functioned this way as far back as July of this year. In fact, we're pretty sure Shield Overload has worked this way since he was released.

There was a small period of time in which he wasn't gaining a shield when he took damage while it was already active, which resulted in him losing Health between each Shield cooldown when he shouldn't have. That was the bug that was fixed a little while ago, but even then he received damage and gained a shield after.

There is one exception, where if Artanis would receive fatal damage while his Shield Overload cooldown is active, we instead drop him to 1 Health and then activate the shield. There are various design and technical reasons for this, and safe to say at some point we might revisit Shield Overload and the tech surrounding it.

If you guys are seeing anything other than that, let us know!
