A few hours after that fierce battle in Korea, kick back and enjoy a similarly significant battle in Europe. Two organizations with a long history in Europe — Fnatic and Dignitas — are sitting first and second at the top of the table respectively. Both teams asserted their dominance over Team Liquid last week, and will be looking to snatch a win here to keep their heads above water, and to keep their dreams of an easy road to the Mid-Season Brawl alive.

Winning the league secures a spot in the Mid-Season Brawl and teams from places 2-6 will fight for the second spot in HGC EU Play-offs in a stepladder format.

Each team bans one map. Then, the "home" team chooses a map for the first game. In the following games of a match, the losing team of the previous game will have the choice for Battlegrounds selection or first hero pick in the draft.
