Small suggestion to greatly improve Thrall's Earthquake based on kit synergy

TL;DR Make Earthquake deal a very small amount of damage each proc so that Thrall can heal based on his trait.

It is widely accepted that Thrall is one of the heroes with one obviously superior ultimate, making that a no-choice at level 10. At best, Earthquake could be considered situationally, niche pick useful, but in many's opinions (mine included), it is straight up worse than Sundering.

I've seen a suggestion to swap Earthquake with Bloodlust, so Rehgar could have the massive slow (Support-ish ult) and Thrall the team-wide DPS increase (damaging ult), but I believe that won't happen - I believe Earthquake is part of Thrall's fantasy (from WC3), and Bloodlust is part of the WC3 shaman unit (which Rehgar is supposed to represent, in part).

I believe a small suggestion can greatly improve Earthquake: make the earthquake waves deal damage. The damage doesn't need to be great - it could be very little damage (could actually be 1 damage for that purpose), so that the damage is not the important part. What would actually happen is, each time the earthquake procs, Thrall's trait would give him great sustain by damaging multiple enemies at once. Enemies would have the option to try to leave the zone - which is hard because of the slow effect - or to stay in the zone, granting health to Thrall.

With this change, Sundering would be ult used to engage/counter enemies channelings/damage, while Earthquake would be used for zone control and self sustain. I believe this added functionality would actually improve the ult a lot, as well as being a good synergy with Thrall's kit.
