Nazeebo's Death Ritual talent is basically a necessity at level 1. Making it weaker but base would open up a lot of options for his hero design.

I play a decent amount of Nazeebo. Of the 73 games on HotSLogs, I've chosen Death Ritual 73 times. In meaningful tiers of Hero League, it sits at about a 96% pick rate. I'm at about 3000 mmr with a 67.1% winrate with him, in case that matters to you.

It's cool when heroes get a meaningful choice at level 1. I feel like the first tier would be a great spot to let Nazeebo start building towards one of his basic abilities. Having more of a choice between spider, frogs and zombies would help bring this hero up to current design standards.

Just my 2 cents on a hero I really enjoy playing (TOAD BUILD FO LYFE). He's not in a bad spot winrate-wise, but could use a bit of love when it comes to talent diversity. Level 4 is kind of ugly as well—I feel he could use the "eradicate generic talents" treatment.

we have some plans to touch up nazeebo in the future. we are looking at ways to increase his skillcap (cough spiders cough), and you better believe we'll be taking a whack at that talent tree. We also agree in rolling in some form of Death Ritual baseline. I can't say when it's coming, but you could say we have it in our sights.
