Heroes of the Storm Western Clash Survival Guide

The first global event of the 2017 HGC campaign is upon us with the Western Clash set to begin March 3 in the Polish city of Katowice. In one of the biggest esports weekends of the year, HGC teams will be anxious to get their first taste of interregional competition as teams from North America, Europe, Latin America, and Australia/New Zealand finally get a chance to square off with each other after several weeks of domestic play.

    I'm very confused by the times. This reddit guide says the games start at 3:00 AM PST. However, when you go to the HGC website I'm seeing the matches start at 9:20 PST.

    What gives?

    Can you grab a screenshot? I'm seeing 3:20am PST, 12:20 pm CET

    Will the "Winner's Bracket" champion have any sort of advantage?

    Also, thanks for the response. It's a bit disappointing that this is the decision, though.

    The team coming from the winner bracket will not have an advantage in the match other than them not having to play as many matches in the bracket.

    Lucio patch right, we have no idea what the pro meta will look like, hopefully Murky will not be too strong in competitive, would be nice to see Lucio comps (butcher, arthas maybe more viable now) and other new stuff.

    The patch released on Feb 17 is what the Western Clash will be played on. The changes noted today (monday) will not be in effect.

    Since the Grand Finals are the winner's bracket finalist and loser's bracket winner, and it's double elimination, will the team from the loser's bracket have to win 2 best of 5s in order to win it all? Or is it just one best of 5 to end it all?

    The Grand Final match will be a single Bo5.
