Does the waiting increase your hype for the game?

Hey guys!

I'm asking because I feel kind of... whatevs. I mean, I love the game and if you asked me last week, I woulda payed to be able to play again. But all this waiting made me kinda not give a poison mushroom about it. I mean, I will play it again, but it lost all the hype for me.

Hey Daniel,

I think that what you're feeling is natural...hype by its very nature is fleeting (LoR dad-joke HIGH FIVE!). I think what matters the most is that you enjoyed what you've seen so far, and that you're willing to give it another try when it comes back.

If Hype was our primary goal, I think we'd be in a lot of trouble with our strategy because there's still a lot of time between now and the true Closed Beta!

Instead our goals are the following:
1. Get player feedback early, so we can incorporate that into the game
2. Finish the remaining features that we believe we need like Expeditions, Ranked, and Friends Challenge
3. Prepare our services and team to operate at scale.
We think that's the path towards ending up with the best possible game, and our hope is that over time, as hype comes and goes, LoR turns into a game that many of us will love to play. And I personally hope that you all get as excited for new LoR releases as our own team does :)
