Yeah. Assembly bot was already pretty good in standard. I'll forever have to wonder what specifically about drafted made it so good.
Not a designer, but it seemed mostly about the number of copies you could pick up -- the combination of the buff w/ the copy effect made for an unreal (and consistent) snowball.
Curious to know why you thought a discard pile isn't important enough.
As a card game player, I think having the discard pile as public information is very important to knowing how to react to everything.
Hello SyncStela! Thanks for the reply. TheToastGhostEUW got it. I do know that card game players love and want a discard pile, or deck tracker, or name-any-other-really-important-feature, but there are tough calls to make. I wouldn't want to speculate on our backlog, but I can point you to our roadmap which has the big things we're working on ( https://playruneterra.com/en-us/news/lor-announce-faq ). And TheMarksman nailed the number one thing we focus on each sprint....BUGS! Building "X" feature is pointless if we can't deliver a stable game to you all! Hope that makes sense.
Funny story...my role on LoR is UX designer and producer for our gameplay features team. We handle a lot of the in-game experiences in LoR. When we were going through feedback from Preview Patch 1 adding discarded cards to Action Log came up and I said “No way!” It isn’t that I thought it wasn’t important, just there were other things I felt we should work on.
Well an engineer on the team disagreed and explained why it was important and how they were going to own fixing it themselves. In the end I’m really glad they did and I’m glad you agree too!
My favorite part of working on this team is how passionate everyone is! Thanks for the feedback and keep it coming!
FYI to the writer of the patch notes, an em dash — is alt+0151—so you don't have to type the cellphone -- version all the time. En dash – btw is alt+0150.
weird, thought we had caught those in the edit. might be a formatting thing on the site. i'll look into it for the next set of notes
It would be better in the future if these card changes images indicated exactly what changed with highlighting or something like how hearthstone does it. It took me a few minutes of corporate needs you to find the differences in each picture to find out what changed about Elise
Thanks for the feedback, there's definitely a ton of work we'd like to do on how / where we present change info.

Hey folks, we're aware of the issue with images loading, working on it now. Apologies!

Same, she's my #1 "I want to build around this" champ but was pretty clunky in my experience, excited to take her new version for a spin.
