Quick thoughts on Autopass
I like Autopass. I don't think you should be able to turn it off. Here's why -
- With Autopass disabled you can spend time to bluff your opponent into thinking you have playable cards.
- With Autopass enabled you can bluff opponents by playing your turn quickly making them think you don't have playable cards.
I would say this is about equal skill expression except one speeds the game up and the other slows the game down. Thus I think Autopass shouldn't be an option but a mandatory part of the game. Thoughts?

Hi! Engineer here that worked on autopass. The ability to toggle it on & off is mostly because of competing needs for different players: we want the game to be fast, snappy and exciting to players that are just jumping in and found without autopass a game between two new players often had pacing issues. For competitively minded players, however, autopass can give away game-altering information which is a feelsbad we want those players to be able to avoid. Thank you for your feedback though: real player perspectives will help us in our decision making as we continue development :)
