Do Thresh, Troop, and similar cards eliminate puffcaps or just transfer them to other cards?

Well, basically this is more a question of how puffcaps work in general. But i had the doubt when thinking Troop reshuffles your deck. So lets say i have 5 puffcaps in my deck and i pull off a full troop shenanigan. Supposing the enemy is too occupied jinx emoting to surrender, and one fo the elnuks would have been a puffcapped card if drawn, do i have 4 or 5 puffcaps in my deck now?

puffcaps are attached to individual cards, so when you summon an elnuk from your deck that has puffcaps attached to it, you have reduced the total # of puffcaps in your deck.

Another question if you don't mind: will future trap type cards behave just like puffcaps if they attach to cards, or is this a case by case thing? In other words, do we expect this to be consistent trap behaviour or puffcap-only behaviour, in the case it is possible to know.

I would say it's most likely to share implementation: we want cards to behave consistently as much as possible. All that said, subject to change, design will always do what they think is best for the game :)
