This is the first time spending money on MTG arena, why hasn’t the preorder unlocked for opening yet?

It’s says unlock on 7/8/21, but it still says locked. I waited for the shop to reset, and it still isn’t ready. Anyone know when it will be?

It will be unlocked once you're using the new build. If you're on PC/Mac the new build is available to download now, just launch using the normal launcher to grab it. If you're on mobile it's unfortunately more variable. We've told the stores to release the new build, but it will take some time to propagate out to all their various nodes (the update showed up in the store just now for my phone, for example).

Thanks! Can I assume the Binding bug/aggressive land shaking are both on you folks' radars?

If by "Binding bug" you mean only getting literal Forest, then yes. We're looking into both of those.
