So I'm selling my collection. Any way to tell how much I should expect?

Four ways to sell a collection. You aren't going to get close to retail for anything. Let's assume that all the cards you have would cost $1000 if you ordered them from Star City Games.

    1) Price out every card from a dealer's buylist (Starcity Games, Strike Zone Online, Troll & Toad, Channel Fireball, etc) and send that in along with a list of the cards not on their buylist. Some things like bulk rares (rares that aren't played) you'll get about $0.10 each, while unlisted commons about $0.005. You'll probably get about $450 for your collection.

    2) Bring the collection into a store that buys collections. They'll go through it and offer a total value. Usually this is about 30-40% less than you get from pricing them all out, but you saved the work. You'll get about $350-375.

    3) Post a list on Craigslist with prices, and have people come pick it up. You will spend a ton of time meeting with people, but will get more for it. Probably about $650, but after a lot of time.

    4) Sell the collection as a whole on Craigslist or eBay. Hit or miss - you might get $250, or up to $600
