General currency purchasing question

So, this does not necessarily apply to Mythgard specifically, but if I wanted to purchase currency, what is the best way to ensure that the developers get the largest cut of the money? I hear Apple/Google Play stores take a pretty sizable cut, but I'm unsure if it is larger than what Steam would take.

Tl;dr how can I support the developers best?

I wish I knew this sooner I would have made my purchases in browser. :(

Every purchase is appreciated, regardless of platform!

Here are the rates for each option:

    Apple takes a 30% cut.

    Google takes a 30% cut.

Steam takes a 20-30% cut depending on volume (at Mythgard's current volume it is 30%).

Xsolla (their payment system when playing in browser) takes a 5% ~10% cut.

So, if you have the option, you should always pay on their web/HTML5 version of the game. The difference in the amount of money that goes to the developers is quite substantial!

Almost correct. Xsolla takes a cut and also passes along the fees of the credit card companies. It ends up being about 10% total.
