So, about deadly+overrun

I guess this doesn't have the usual (MTG, Eternal, maybe others) interaction of only dealing one damage to a creature and the rest to the opponent? I was playing peach and had the 5 mana dragon that gives the overrun jewel, played the gem and a dark passenger on it and tried to hit a thane across from it and it said it was only going to deal 3 damage to my opponent. Is it supposed to work this way?

If you are hung up on the mechanics, just think of deadly as something that applies after the combat damage is dealt. If damage was dealt and the dealer had deadly, the receiver dies.

Fragile is part of the combat damage calculations in the same way armor is.
