This is WIP stuff from Machinima making - specifically scenecrafting in 3ds Max. This stuff is rendered completely outside of the game engine, and this scene contains ~ 13 million faces over ~ 14000 objects.
Almost everything in these renders has been painstakingly coded, animated, edited, or had its texture-work redone to a degree by myself.
It might not look like much, but this scenery can fully be interacted with by characters I'm animating - from grabbing a torch off the wall to blowing up the keep, if I wanted. You can't do that level of terrain interaction (or any terrain interaction) in the game engine.
In that case, this is rather impressive. I just had no idea what I was looking at :P
