So far expansion has been fun as hell. Conjurer's Calling has been game busting so far. Turn 5 Khadgar into a Mountain Giant for a board of 4 7/8's with taunt has been so satisfying.

How's everyone spending their last few games before RoS is live, if you are playing at all? I've been having fun with OTK priest thanks to the early legendary and it's pretty fun to set up a board of archmages to cast a barrage of Mind Blasts. IveI got the list i am using, and an idea of how i may attempt to play it in the new standard year.

I like to make a lot of decklists prior to new expansions, and I would appreciate the ability to sort them by class, date created, date last edited, etc., similar to how it works on Hearthpwn. As it is right now, it kinda bothers me that it's apparently sorted by a field that isn't visible on the profile page, making it appear to be a random order.

I guess the title says it all: when I use the deckbuilder most of the times it's just theorycrafting or building up ideas before I get to implement them into the game. For that reason, most of the times I prefer to keep the decks to myself, to just have a private list of decks I'm working on. I remember on the HPwn site there was the possibility to turn the "Unlisted" option on. Is it possible to have it here in the near future as well? Because I really find this site much snappier and mobile friendly, but I really can't save wip decks like this.

I know that while deckbuilding, we can filter specific targets to look for what we want. It would be great if we can use these filters after a deck is published, too. If I wasn't clear enough, here's the example: I made an Elemental deck and I want to highlight Elemental minions on this page, not on Deckbuilder page. Like, when I choose Tribe as Elemental on this page (and not on Deckbuilder page), Hearthstation should highlight the Elementals here to see which Elementals I added for convenience. As color, maybe light orange would be great, just like on Hearthpwn.

Come to think of filters, while deckbuilding, I noticed there is no "in-between" or "comparison" filters. As example, I want to filter the attack of minions between 1 and 3. In Hearthstone, it's done with "attack:1-3" (without quotes), but not here. Please, moderators and administrators, implement both these options which would help us a lot.

Something I completely forgot about until today: Zayle, Shadow Cloak!  I fully expected this to be part of the reveals when they started, and then after they all came out I forgot about it.  But that should also means Zayle can't be found in the packs, therefore, you won't waste a legendary pull on a regular Cloak, only to dust it later after finishing the solo content.

I know not much has been revealed on Zayle, other than it's a Whizbang-type of card that can give you one of five possible decks.  I assume these decks are going to be from the five EVIL classes, and I also assume they won't be the same deck recipes that Whizbang is giving us.  I mainly say this because if they are, what's the point?  Then we're just playing Zayle over Whizbang because you specifically want to play one of those five classes and not the other four.  Yes, Whizbang would change over time where Zayle may not, so using the new RoS deck recipes could be fine, but again it seems redundant.

Anyway, interested to hear your thoughts on what the Zayle decks could be like.  It would be crazy if they were themed more after the final bosses in the solo mission wings, but that could be too OP!  Feel like if that was the case they'd have to be toned down just a bit to be fair.

Granted I don't put much stock in this competitively bc this was in casual and the guy was just trying to finish a play mage cards quest or something. Regardless it was fun to get the hoppers this high! 

Now with the rotation, which cards will you truly miss? In other words, which are you favourite cards rotating out?

I am wondering what is the best move to have when a new expansion is coming out.

I've heard that 135 cards are going to be added to the game, and other card are moving to the wild side.

The rumors has it that  players in this transition should wait and buy the new card expansion when they are out. 

My question is it wise to rush and start buying packs, or shall we wait and see which way the meta will shift.

Wanted to see the mana curve for the new expansion so I plotted it out.

So, I purchased both preorder bundles and intend to drop all my gold and dust on packs/cards and will likely have a near complete collection on Day 1 (barring a few obscure epics). I’m not saying this to brag, but rather to extend an offer:

I have an arena run going right now, and when I started the game after downloading the patch, it told me "your arena run will expire soon!". and I am guessing that means that when the expansion hits, it will refund my run, and give me the rewards. I am not %100 sure of this, but I am guessing that it would be safe to start an arena run and then continue it to 2 loses.

Changes

• Deck Listing
  • Score and dust columns are now colored based on their content.
  • Score column has been relocated. It wanted to be closer to the deck name.
  • Added a new filter for "has guide". Select yes if you only want to see decks that have guide content.
    • Developer Note: I would like to eventually have this allow you to look for more detailed guides as well.
  • Implemented a proper  hot algorithm for decks.
    • Developer Note: The hot algorithm uses votes, guide content, and age of a deck to determine how "hot" it is. It is slightly beneficial to write a guide if you want your deck to climb above others. Scores are not updated instantly but rather periodically (every hour currently). Over time this will be reevaluated and I'm sure we'll make it even better to make sure the best deck content is showcased.

• The front page pro decks widget will now always show decks in it.

Bug Fixes

• Reduced the card size in our expansion guides. This was incorrectly increased in a previous "feature" change.

Right now under your profile when you see your decks you can see the title in one tab, and how long ago it was made in another tab. I think it'd be cool if you added some extra tabs with some of the same information that was on Hearthpwn; stuff like views, ratings, comments etc.

When hovering over the cards added to a new deck while in deck builder, there is no thumbnail image pop up.  It's hard to tell what the synergies are with cards added to the deck.  

With new expansion being released this would help out a lot.

Well met! A small update has arrived to HearthStation.

Changes

• Clicking on comment pagination now jumps you back to the comments area - no more scrolling!
• Deckbuilder now has a Search field instead of a name field.
  • You may use this field to search for name, text, or tribes of cards.
  • Try searching for Murloc or Taunt to find synergies!
• Tavern Brawl pages now show the days a brawl was active instead of having a blank spot.
• Comments can now be 100k characters in length - shit post responsibly.
• Card images on the site now default to 240px
  • They remain 200px in the expansion guides
  • If using cardimg bbcode, you can set the size= argument to give yourself a custom size.
• Logged out users will be asked to logged in if they want to save a deck on the deckbuilder.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed an issue where deck bbcode would cause 500 server error responses due to using deck ids that did not exist.
• Fixed issue with card and cardimg bbcode which could cause the save 500 errors that deck bbcode experienced.
• Fixed an issue causing some urls to go through our cms routing, causing 500 errors instead of 404.
• Tables (and their child elements) can once again be styled and class'd.

Right now the deckbuilder is really counterintuitive since you can't bring up all taunt minions, all battlecry minions, all silence effects, etc. - we need some feature that either searches the cards for keywords, or lets you search for card text. (So if you search for murloc for example, all cards that has text related to murlocs show up. That way both murlocs, gentle megasaur and the curator will show up for example)

When I tried to import my deck via. the deckcode function nothing showed up even if I updated the url.

The other decks seem to be fine although haven't went into all classes, but when I try to build a mage deck none of the cards show up.

The Burly Shovelfist card seems to be taking it's time making it into the deck builder roster.

Ironic, considering it's a rush minion.

Edit: He's there now, but for me he's always going to be the slowest rush minion in the game.
