I’m curious how the draft phase mechanics work for Battlegrounds given it appears matches don’t all take place at the same time.
It often appears that people are drafting or upgrading their decks while I have a match in progress.
Is this giving them more frequent chances to snag cards from the limited tavern tier pools? Or is this balanced in some sort of timelocked format to keep the matches and drafts spaced out and balanced?

Dawn of Desolation is a 135 card expansion I designed to look into an alternate reality where Lazul betrays the League of EVIL to bring about the Old Gods.
The League of EVIL has laid waste to the land and incapacitated some of its most powerful heroes. With Lazul's powerful clairvoyance leading them on their way, the League of EVIL finds themselves in the crypt of a powerful long dead being. If they can turn the power of the Old Gods to be on their side, nothing will stand in the way of Rafaam! (And the others)
But these ancient powers have something else in my mind. For Lazul doesn't wish to subdue and control her old master... she wants to release them.
Five villains enter the crypt and only Lazul leaves, but with her comes an unimaginable horror and certain doom for Azeroth.
Before the Hour of Twilight comes the Dawn of Desolation.

This isnt bbcode, but we have one thing implemented, that Custom Card Creators might want to make use of, so here it goes.
hsclass-header
We have a special headings with graphics for each class. But to make it work, you have to edit your post in Source Code via the "<>" button in the Text Editor:
Create your post and a header for the class;
for example, format your "Druid" header with Heading 3, which will then in source code look like <h3>Druid</h3>.
Click on the "<>" icon (source code) in the Text Editor.
Search for (ctrl+f) "h3" and find the heading you're looking for.
Replace line <h3>Druid</h3> with <h3 class="hsclass-header hsclass-druid">Druid</h3>;
for hunter it would be <h3 class="hsclass-header hsclass-hunter">Hunter</h3> and so on.
Confirm with "OK".
Save your post.
Done.
Now you get the pretty headings with graphics instead of regular ones :)

A new card comes out and it is really harder than it needs to be to have a coherent discussion with the community about a new card.
I think the card discussion forum is redundant isn't it?
Also there are 2 places where we can vote for the card ?
Maybe the reveal discussion should be where we talk about the reveal - the "discuss this card" goes to the card page and that is where we vote and discuss?

This is especially annoying since we have all the DoD cards, and all of the decks above the news and threads, so there is a sufficient amount of scrolling before I can get to what I want to see. I know this site needs to make money, but I thought we were going to be funded only by the community to avoid having ads.

Hi fella LoR players, As many of you i fell in love with this game, surprisingly thou as I was not a big fan of other card games like Hearthstone or Magic. And i love to build decks i had many creative Ideas throughout the first two Trials.
Some Examples: Clone Decks (Elnuk, Commander Ledros, caustic casks) Nexus Killer Decks (ephemeral Legion Grenadier :D, Phantom Prankster with some Magic) Counter the Meta Decks (Karma and insane Mageseeker Inciters, Freljord Karma) Control Decks (Anivia clone, survive=grant freljord) Pursuit of Perfection Decks (overkill with Karma, spell control spawn) Creep Spawn Decks (Shadow Isles, Heimerdinger)

When discussing Battlegrounds, it would be nice to be able to link to the Battlegrounds versions of cards instead of the regular Hearthstone versions, such that it includes the tier rating instead of mana cost.
I'm not sure what the syntax should be. One option would be to have a separate tag like {bgcard} instead of {card}. A different option would be to have a prefix in the body, such as {card}bg:Alleycat{/card}. I guess the cleanest solution is an attribute, such as {card set="battlegrounds"}Alleycat{/card}, but that would be terrible to type.
A different approach would be to have the post editor look up the card as you're typing and have a way of cycling between versions of the card. Misspelled card names are the #1 reason for me editing my posts, so a way to verify that the right card will be displayed would be great. But this is probably the most work to implement.
With Out of Cards supporting multiple card games, I guess you'll eventually run into overlapping names between games as well. Especially really generic names such as "fireball" might exist in multiple games. So it might be worth thinking of a solution for disambiguation in general and not just in the scope of Battlegrounds.
Finally got to play as a new hero! It was Elise and she is aMEIzing! Being able to discover an important minion by far is super useful! Hurray for Elise and druidism!
