I'm pretty sure, that already other player came up with that idea. 
It's quite likely, there is already another thread with the exact same thing. Sorry, but I didn't find it. 

Here is the idea: 
We will start our own league of hearthstone. We want to spice things up, because we are tired of grinding.

It's a wild league but with banned cards. Probably around 20 cards, for each class are banned. We are aiming towards the standard decks of those classes. We basically just take the top % of played card of each class in each category. 

That's why I have 2 questions:
- Do you guys have any experience with something like this?
- Does anybody want to join us on our first try. Starting in January next year.

Hi,

I am looking for advice to make this deck better (more consistent or more resilient would be great)

Also what is a good game plan when *any* combo deck fails to draw the combo pieces...(electrorig + wayfinder in this case)?

The problems I see in this deck is that there is just way too many counters that will kill the win condition on top of actually trying to draw into them.

EDIT: Updated the deck, I realized I can just run elusives as an 'alternate' win con then shrooms just become scaling decimates.

Regardless, some other ideas would be nice.

Now druid is one of my favorite classes, and i enjoy playing control/combo. But this just makes it so boring and unfun to watch and play. Just to mention it's the same with every Aviana-Kun the Forgotten King deck. Draw a bunch of shit with Juicy Psychmelon, play Jepetto Joybuzz, win the game against your priest opponent who has an autofill deck, just installed hearthstone and hasn't played a single minion all game and by the way he's only on 6 mana. It's not interesting. Especially since druid has so many options for combos. 

I still remember danehs' kael'thas malygos druid.

I'm about to try this game for the first time, just wanted to ask, are there any codes for free packs / free something else that are still active?

This card is absolutely nuts and I have no idea why wasnt it nerfed when even pros shit talk the card and hate it's very existence.

It's 1 mana drain 1, that's already good BUT it also creates many copies of itself in deck AND it's a win condition by itself because it evolves into 1 mana ruination+it damages nexus.

There shouldnt exist a 1 mana win condition that can be prevented only if you have nopeify in your starting hand.

Genuine question for those who have played the Garrosh solo adventure and done the Jaina fight. For Thereamore, the fight is basically the same as in Jaina's chapter in the first book of heros story. Main diffrence is that you switch sides using Garrosh's hero power to destroy the gates. The voice lines are very much the same, although with a few small additions. Overall, do you consider this to be clever as we see the same scenario from the other side, or a cheap reuse of assets? Perhaps both somehow? I'm undecided myself, so I'm curious to see what people think.

Also, additional question, How many of you think the warrior pack is worth buying now that we have more skins in the game overall? 

I just got 4 packs (championship Jarla packs?) and 2x50 gold (compensation for levels 27&30?)

Under some of the new pets it just says "reward" and I can't find anything else out. How do I get one as a reward?

The last patch has just exacerbated what I think was the biggest annoyance with battlegrounds: the timer is too short! It really limits the plays you're able to make during your turn. The latest patch introduces prizes that you have to pick from, leaving you with even less time to make your play.

I say the minimum time for the recruitment phase in Battlegrounds should be extended by 5 or 10 seconds. What do you think?

On the 10th, the new content writer applications officially closed. When can we expect results to be announced or to be contacted back at least?

in the start of hearthstone there were secret quests to archieve wich one give us golds or special cards.

For exemple:

Get all murlocs: recieve the legendary neutral murloc

Same for pirates and recieve the parrot

Get all cards from basic set and gain 100 golds.

Does this still exists? I'm asking because a friend started playing so, if it does i will tell him but if not its not useful to talk about it. And its fun to know that secrets quests still exists, it may be challenging for some.

So I have been lurking abit on reddit and found a thread being glad we now don't have spoilers it's time to speculate.

Looking at the map of runeterra: https://map.leagueoflegends.com/en_US

We can see 10 regions( 8 in game ones + Ixtal and Shirima) , zooming in a bit we also see Bandle city and The void,

Bandle city won't be included since the most key character- Teemo is already in P&Z also lulu is in Ionia..

Now I read on reddit Riot confirmed that there will only be 10 regions but we have 11 bigs ones Shurima is gonna stand alone most likely since it's big, now the question is the void vs Ixtal...

The void has more champions but a lot of them are not geografically there..

that's why I think Ixtal (a 6 champion region in universe) is gonna be the last one.. then it leaves according to the region spread

8 Void champions,5 Yordles and 14 Runeterra champions that do not have any main region so we have them as "travelers".

I discounted those that already have a place btw.

Bandle city except Veigar and Yuumi all into P&Z, Veigar is probably in Noxus cause of Mordekaiser, and Yuumi is spirit like she would fit Ionia.

So what do you think? do you think the last region will be Ixtal.. or I am wrong and the void will be a region by itself? do you think you can find of a good placement for the 7 none obvious "runeterran" champions what about Cho'gath and Vel'koz?

j/k but for real it needs a nerf. It needs to be either 2 mana, have its copy effect not happen if you killed off it's target, or have it not trigger if it doesn't kill the target.

So what is everyone experiencing after the 'Apology Patch'?

I've seen a ton of control warlocks.  I don't think Demon Hunter was killed off, but I guess the perception is that people believe it was killed, cause I haven't seen a single DH since the patch hit.  A bunch of druids, warlocks, and paladins, oh and shaman.

Really enjoying this new patch. Things have been very mixed up and I love the approach to keeping things fresh like this.

Y Shaarj is a mistake. Even at 0 Mana it's debatable because of space. Not adding more seconds to decide prizes is a pain in the butt too. You can sometimes find yourself debating and goodbye turn. Well that will get better with time.

Loving the new 'taunt tribe'. The guy who gets buffs is not to be overlooked. 

Patches is playable again!! A nice consolation for losing Gala.. maybe bring him back with Millhouses +1 to tavern tiers..?

Great patch, Battlegrounds Team.

So simple story really I had a great board in battlegrounds today but I was cheated out of first place not by cheesy divine poison or anything but by the game literally not letting me even fight for first.

For context I had (69/72) cave hydra, (48/44) scallywag, two gold mini rags (54/55) and (34/37) accordingly, (6/10) amalgam on, (59/61) amalgamate I stole from the curator at the start and a (46/127) rock guy.

So I was Rafaam with this strong board with 2 foes left I beat one guy and then the game ended with Al'akir still alive. The game did go on for some time so maybe we just hit the turn cap or something because it lasted long enough for me to get two tier six prizes (all that glitters which was used on mini rag and throw the bone which was used on hydra).

So I'm just trying to wrap my head around why I didn't get a final fight for first with Al'akir anyone have any ideas?

I may just be a negative nancy here but the balance changes seem to not do anything to the mode other than remove some high rolls (and kill rogue for some reason). Demon Hunter in Duels wasn't overpowered because of the treasures (although they did contribute) but rather because the Outlander Heropower is just plain overpowered and abusable in that class. In general it feels like every class has one good deck and that is the deck you will face, few exceptions apply. You run into Hunter, it will be Deathrattle. You run into warlock, it will be discard with C'thun and killmox (yeah I know kilmox will be nerfed but it will be run nontheless). The hero powers just kind of decide how you play the game and there is very little you can do to change it due to the limited card pool.

Not to mention how far apart the power level of treasures are. There are the ones that actively reduce the cost of your cards or give them rush while others barely do a thing (how is "make your weapons cost 1 less" a treasure?).

And then there is the whole issue of chain-queuing into the same person multiple times.

I don't know, I love the mode but after a few games it feels extremly same-y where even standart feels more versatile. Maybe that will change once all the hero powers and treasures are revealed but so far it just plays like an elaborate tavern brawl.

First off, let's be clear: I'm not here to cry and complain "boo hoo some anonymous person on the internet doesn't like me" etc. But I've been noticing a lot of downvotes recently that don't make sense.

Example #1: I posted a deck a few weeks ago, and upvoted myself. Someone else came along and downvoted it. No comment or anything. What's the point? If you don't like the deck, offer some constructive criticism. Why was it worth someone's time to just randomly downvote a deck?

Example #2: During the card reveal season leading up to Darkmoon Faire, I went around voting on and commenting on every card, like most of you did. Every now and then someone would make an inflammatory statement and get a bunch of downvotes, or get lots of upvotes for a really funny one. Makes sense. But I saw lots of downvoted comments (mine and other people's) where there was nothing to like or dislike.

It looks to me like some folks (or maybe just one really antisocial dweeb) are just going around downvoting everything they see. Does this bother anyone else? if we're all here to discuss the game, share decks and thoughts, and even disagree with each other, doesn't this type of behavior cheapen the legitimate use of the downvote?

The once decaying region of Westfall is now flooded with people of all sorts and a large stream of stagecoaches that travels busily around the land. The reason? Gold, of course!

This sudden gold rush has attracted a lot of greedy visitors, including some gun-wielding outlaws. This is something the authorities of Stormwind cannot tolerate, so they have sent their fastest gunslingers to serve as sheriffs and deputies. Introducing the new keyword...

This keyword is a combination of MtG's First Strike and Ranged, which I translated into Hearthstone the best I could. The expansion itself is largely inspired by the board game Bang!, combined with Mean Streets of Gatgetzan's motto of taking a WoW location and combining it with a theme that wouldn't fit Azeroth at first glance.
