It's okay even without a battlecry - you've got the removal for 5 mana deal 5. But if you play it on a totem or a 1/1 silver recruit, you've got for 7 mana deal 10! It's great

They are trying to make a treant archetype a thing but I dont think this card will make it good...

In some classes it may find place. Maybe Gonk Druid to get more claws? Or cyclone mage, to gain cheap spells? Overall decent card.
