I would more likely see that 3 rune cards can't be discovered. No more Fury in Blood Knight, Vampiric Blood to save your ass as Frost. That would make 3 rune cards really unique for that particular rune deck.
In hindsight, them already having played Scale was probably a good hint. And Theotar got in my hand some turns later, otherwise that would have been the better play. But yeah, XL Shaman is not the deck for me and I dislike encountering Ramp Druid no matter what deck I play myself...

I did a decisive misplay against Ramp Druid (as XL Shaman) and was wondering how y'all would think in the same situation.
Turn 7, both have a few smaller minions on board. They have 4 minions with Composting played on them and two cards in hand. I'm able to play Bolner + Mutanus and my main goal is to snipe their Denathrius. I suspect that they have at least one spell in hand so they should draw some more to make use of Mutanus. I go on to clear all their minions (this is where I feel stupid now) so they should get some more minions in hand and I consume their Brann and Sylvanas. Later, with 5-6 cards in their hand, I play Theotar and miss Big D once again. A turn or to after that their Sire kills me from full health with a 50+ dmg battlecry.
Since I possibly couldn't know wether Denathrius was one of their two cards in their hand on t7 I can't really say where it went wrong besides bad luck. How would you guys think adn decide the play in the same situation?
PS: Can't wait to see both Denathrius and Theotar kicked out of meta/standard format.

Made a nice jump on the track yesterday with Noz and weekly quests, up to 53. As lvl 50 reward I got the guy on the very top of my wishlist: Kel'Thuzad, the Inevitable. The early track legendary was Orion, not as playable.

Quote From ElSabidon Also, I tricked that player 4 times with Suspicious Usher and got 0 achievement progress.
Weirdly enough, I got a tick on that achievement without playing an usher but by guessing right when my opponent played one. Or guessing wrong, I went 1-1 with guesses in that game. So it’s probably working the other way around.
I´d hate to give up again on the Diamond Y'Shaarj, but seeing the other two tasks, I´m not sure if I´ll be able to finish it all.
You should know that the last one is a piece of cake, just get to Serena Bloodfeather in the Barrens and windfury will do the trick. I did #8 with holy team but #9 was trickier.
I'm doing well otherwise, at lvl 129 now. I haven't played much this month but made a jump from Gold 5 to Diamond 10 the last two days and cleared the quest log. Slower on achievements, 39% now but I have no plans to grind the most boring or unrealistic tasks.

More than half of my games (Standard) are vs. Control Warrior and I'm really tired of it. I do think that control decks should be viable in every meta, but spending a majority of my gaming time silently watching armor gain and board wipes to eventually die to a 1-mana Mr. Smite if I'm not fast enough is just tiresome.

I beat Popsicooler mainly through Old Guardian's guide and some luck.
My team was Fire + Murlocs; Ragnaros, Balinda Stonehearth & Geddon + Murky, Cookie & Old Murk-eye. I was lucky enough to pick up Assasinate treasue (it hit a side-kick) and started with fire-team vs the boss. They burst down Ragnaros pretty quickly, I replaced him with Murky. Murky's ability gives taunt to Popsicooler, which lets me hit it with Balinda's Water elemental that freezes. When you freeze Pop at the right times, the fight is so much easier.

Great read! Will there be a second episode?
On my personal wishlist is article about the lore of all Sunken City's awesome characters and legendary minions, but I understand if that's too much work. :)

I'm 59 with my quest log full, will get a couple of new levels over the next few days. Achievement tally at 23%.
My freebies were first Raj Naz'jan (yay!) and then last week Za'qul. I always get Warlock legendaries from the track, except from Stormwind when they were good. And yesterday I opened Gigafin from the rewarded packs.

This early, Mecha-Shark and Switcheroo feels like potential nerf targes. Also, discover is super strong with this limited card pool, I think I discovered 4 new The Leviathan in the same game. But I haven't played a lot tbh.

I opened plenty of packs since I was lucky enough to win a standard bundle giveaway and had a lot of gold saved, all in all 150-ish so far. And with a full questlog I got to level 26 on the same day. 28 epics, legendary haul below.
I'm happy with the haul, I got several of the legendaries I wanted to try out and I'm having a blast with Pirate Rogue. Queen Azshara and Radiance of Azshara is on my shortlist for crafting but I might wait a week or two with that.
This is the way
You took the words right out of my mouth. Also, "knullified" is my new favorite word of all time.
Green Goblin says hello!
Thanks dapperdog for the input!

The return of Deathrattle DH? Might be worth a shot.
Dark and Gritty Karazhan it is!

It was a server-side patch so no app update required. Just start/restart the game and you're set
Rise to the Occasion. Meh. But still two legendaries for free and the first one was Ini Stormcoil.
Would Spammy Arcanist work with Hydralodon?

Freebies from bundle, Prime gaming and rewards track: The Leviathan, Kotori Lightblade, Ini Stormcoil and Raj Naz'jan.
From packs: Lady S'theno, Hydralodon, Priestess Valishj, Blackwater Behemoth, Crabatoa (golden!), Pirate Admiral Hooktusk and Lady Ashvane.

I'm at 236 and my quest log is full, ready to dive into the deep!
