Frenzy is the first time something survives damage, right? You got a 5 damage spell in hand? Silence? A 5 attack minion on board? I think at 5 health this is going off more than we're giving it credit for.
Deathrattle DH is probably where Pure Paladin was at the beginning of the year of the Phoenix: An archetype they want to push, but an archetype that hasn't reached the critical mass of being good yet.

If I could give this 2.5 stars I would. The slower Steeldancer weapon Rogue might want this: use weapon to clear taunts while minions go face.
