As much as I hate it : Mill Archetype  - it will find a way to use it reliably. They will make you choose between overdrawing cards, or letting a 7/7 rampage.

Druid may abuse this with naturalize and beast synergy shenanigan (which include tutoring, copying, and cost-reducing effect).

Rogue can leverage the deathrattle part. (It's even tutorable with Sketchy Information).

And as stated higher up : Silence list.

I think it will infuriate me, one way (aggro flagship) or another (mill list)...

Silence any class perhaps. With the addition of Smothering Starfish there's now enough neutral silencing card for everyone.

Considering the silence archetype can brutally punish player that rely heavily on provocation wall (druid in wild for example) and mass-freezing  (chaman and mage mainly); maybe there will be a spot for it at some point in the meta.

I tried a silence priest list for a bit this season. It ended up being consistent when played in a very aggressive way (outpacing even Pirate warrior reliably). A 4-ATK / 1-mana drop would definitively fit the smorc battleplan. (but I hate smorc :-( )

Also, it's a beast. So some druid or hunter archetype may find an use to it in a really distant future...

    Awfully niche right now.

Isn't it the synergy with Alignment negative in this instance ?

Because you would only get one mana back anyway ?

Even if you managed to generate some heavy-costed spell after setting cost; you would still be set back by having reset max. mana crystal to 1.

Don't get me wrong : I have no doubt someone will manage to pull a lot of value out of this.  But I don't expect it to be more broken than its spiritual predecessors.

Hopefully, it will be a sanest Khun, for a sanest Standard : A bit faster at 6-mana, but more nuanced - due to being dependent from your hand's content -.

As a Guff's "Melee" questline enjoyer, I've mixed feeling about this.

Getting some hero attack is definitely advancing my battleplan. And potentially removing a minion in the process is nice. (because one of melee druid issue is that pumping hero ATK can only remove one threat by turn by itself => it's easy to get swarmed)

But I'm not certain there's a naga I really want to play alongside it, especially on curve. And missing on the +ATK really sucks in my case. :-/

On the other hand, I appreciate deckbuilding challenge :-D

So I'll probably try using one in my singleton list in wild.

I still run Feral Rage in it; usually without synergizing with the "Choose One" keyword. So Seaweed Strike could end up being a nice upgrade.

    That's a near-sighted evaluation :-/

    It literally :

Put a 5/6 body onboard. (which is average for a 5-mana card.)

Deals n damage to your opponent.

Give you back at least n life point.

(admittedly, n could be 0, which kinda suck)

It also potentially have the following side-effect :

Adding a card to your opponent hand may cause him to overdraw his next cards. (and some warlock list already make use of that kind of effect in their battleplan)

Taxing 2 manas or  dealing n damage again. (Admittedly, you should not count on getting heal out of these damage)

Increasing damage of future curse by one. (which may give more value to other card if you play the whole synergy. And unless you happen to have randomly generated that card, you should be.)
