  • I got a golden Nomi from packs recently, and I wanted to play it before dusting it... This is the deck I was looking for!

  • And that's easy money for Blizzard, so... let's go!

I have to say I have not changed the card back I use since I got my first one, Ragnaros. Only in a few thematic decks.

  • I don't get it. Why purchasing a card back? Why this one specifically?

  • Thanks mate! I haven't tried pushing for legend again, yesterday I reached D6 and I don't think I have the time to push this season, we will see. Good luck to anybody pushing for first time legend!

  • Upvoted because of the detailed guide, good job! Sadly I lack too many cards, so I can't test it anytime soon.

  • Congrats!

  • That's right, card draw is a problem, I keep using Big Ol' Whelp and Skeletal Dragon in my midrange dragon priest experiments because of that.

  • I have the same feeling. I've been experimenting more in the Aggro side, and Intrepid Initiate or Frazzled Freshman T1 + Power Word: Feast T2 are awesome early plays, also Voracious Reader helps a lot not running out of steam, but overall, it's not fast enough to beat Druid, and if your board gets cleared, you are out of the game.

I wanted to go more midrange after those failed tests, but your post gives me little hope... Do you mind sharing your best performing tempo/midrange priest deck?

  • I'm still unsure. Probably a Rogue deck with Bazaar Burglary and weapon synergy, some kind of Tempo Mage or an aggro/tempo priest. It will depend on what legendaries I get from packs.

I think it's OK, it's not as fast as Hooked Scimitar, which can inflict (without buffs) 8 damage by turn 4, but 10 damage by turn 6 is not bad at all. And, when buffed by +2, it would be 18 damage total, while the scimitar would be 12 only. So a bit on the slow side, but not that slow.

But if I think better about it, one of the main uses of weapons in the early/mid game is removing minions... Is it worth spending 3 mana turn 3 to kill something with 1 health? Probably not. I have mixed feelings about this weapon...

  • It would be good for Paladin if the class had something to kill Barov the same turn he's played, but IIRC Paladin in Standard only has Hammer of Wrath... That's 7 mana to clear the board (and YOUR board) + draw a card... Well, not bad, 1 mana cheaper than Twisting Nether + it draws a card.

  • Just play the coin before the weapon. T4: Coin + Maul + Air Raid = 2/2 weapon + 2x 1/1 with Taunt + 2/2 with Taunt. Not that bad.

  • I'm getting the slight impression that Priest is going to be OP this expansion...

Nice! But the page is not shown in the main menu under "Scholomance Academy"...

  • So, what changes do you expect in the standard meta after the nerfs go live? Even more Druids and Warriors? Maybe Hunter making a comeback? Rogue and Mage disappearing?

  • I got 8x both last season (I finished D9) and the previous one (I finished D2), so I really don't understand how it works.

  • Well, I disenchanted Prince Keleseth just before it started being included in every single rogue and warlock deck...

  • Congrats to all the winners!
