I was getting tired of grinding out Expeditions all the time, because I don't play Gauntlets. I LIKE Expeditions, but not all the time.

I was also hoping Essence would be used for this. But I can't really blame Riot; they monetize the game through cosmetics. Unlike my experience with Hearth$tone, you can be completely FTP and have a full collection. So Riot has to make the money somewhere.

Yeah, the flavor text on these ones is a lot of fun. I always look through the flavor text and full art on day one, but of course I read them out of order because I went through everything by mana cost.

Chip is great. Solid card, too.
