You can actually quantify how bugged The Brave and the Bolner achievement really is by revisiting it after completion:
This would paint a picture of a seriously aggressive grind if not for the serendipitous bug 🤣
Yep, can confirm that too - just did the Achievement with Bolner into Kazakus and after Checking the Log , mine says: 523565/100 - hopefully once they patch it we will still have the achievement
Well so far im Level 44 (with Tavern Pass) - most of the time messing around with different builds. The most fun so far i had with Guff Druid - and also quite surprisingly (at least for me) with Questline Paladin.
I've been playing a lot of the warrior quest since I have gotten it in golden. I have no idea what you are talking about- if anything, it needs to be buffed!
The payoff is often slightly better than [Hearthstone Card (lakarri sacrifice) Not Found] putting on board a 2/2, giving you a 1 attack weapon and dealing 4 damage randomly.
There is no clever way to cheat out pirates like the requirements of other quests have. Another issue is you want to run weapons since the first reward is to draw one, however once you have the Jugg in effect the weapon is more or less a dead card in hand (Gorehowl is an exception but not a great card).
Almost every game with QL Warrior is playing catch-up. It's so bad that often when you finally get Rokara you can't even play her because you need to address the board.
I agree - it was pretty cool on day one but right now it is mostly to slow - even if you get the nut draw and have the Juggernaut early on - most of the time he comes down to late and even if it is early on the impact is most of the time not enough - at least right now! So i would agree to buff this Quest not only because i kinda like it because it realy isn't that powerful against the most played decks right now.
Hunter i would say isn't weak - sure not as strong as anticipated but still playable and strong enough to compete against others.
Well i personaly haven't met that many Quest Warlocks - sure some but not much. And only once my opponent played a Flesh Giant - so i personaly did not notice a problem with the card. Sure , when the Card was released i was surprised that the original cost is not higher but right now i realy don't see him as the problem.
Well even tough i only used her three times since i played the deck - she can be a lot of fun and very powerful. Made a DemonZoo List with her and so far it performs pretty well.
Well, i don't know if it is that different on Europe Server because the last 15 Games i haven't faced one single Warlock. Mostly Paladin , Mage and Hunter. Sometimes a Druid or Demon Hunter. Also faced only 3 Priests since launch and 2 of them were Shadow.
But Warlock , Shaman or Rogue are absolutely abstinent - at least the last 15 Games for me if not more.
Well, can't realy say what others haven't said before :)
Everyone who plays the game can and should play what they enjoy - even if it is a deck that doesn't agree with you or you often times lost too.
Most people play to win or simply have fun - and if their fun means playing for example Quest Mage because they maybe enjoy or like it they are allowed to do that.
Sounds very entitled and self centred - and like mentioned above - belongs in the Salt Thread.
Well i think expanding the Rating System would be better than an Overall Rating - i mean you could still get an overall rating after the Expanded One but with an Expanded System i can give sort of extra Points or Minus Points because of for example spelling errors - right now i can only reduct a star if there is an error so i guess this would work better in an expanded system.
Also what kinda bugged me a little since i sometimes join in the WCDC - we can't give half Stars - maybe a card is worth 3.5 but i can only give 3 or 4 ... also maybe it would be better if the votings would start all together because it seems that someone who submits a card early on has a litte bit of voting advantage ...
Cutting the Finalist Voting could be a good step because like the OP mentioned often times there will be just a push for the card you like the most etc.
Rewards would be kinda nice but i guess the rewarding system is still fine because i mostly do this for fun but if we would get some sort of reward out of it that could spike up the numbers on people competing - maybe :)
Also sometimes i feel like the WCDC Community ( or at least some votes) are way to harsh - sure we want a good and perfect card with no errors but sometimes a card is very good but does not make it to the finals because the Watermark is from a wrong expansion or the flavour is ok but not in the right kind etc. so i guess with an expanded rating system this could be improved.
Also maybe we could implement some sort of Beginners Challenge or something like that - don't know but sometimes i have the feeling that beginners or people who are pretty new to WCDC almost never have a chance against the "Old Guard" of WCDC :) :)
Very cool - this reminds me of the days when you played the Mage Minion on 1 that let`s you play a Secret for free and after that the Opponent played his "old" quest and concedes after the counter :)
Yeah, when you give Snyder all the power to do anything without some kind of straight man next to him telling him why it sucks, the film eventually tends to be extremely long, with confusing edits all round.
I haven't watch this one. But after Man of Steel, Bat v Sups, and justice league I've pretty much got an idea what a Snyder film is. Credit to the man, he's got some vision, even if its littered with oozing junk on a landmine, but a man with a vision is still infinitely preferable to any score of boardroom full of managers focus testing everything according to the latest trends, and who's got access to the family wallet so they can squeeze as much dollars out of it (Yes Disney, that's exactly what you are).
Go watch his personal justice league cut, which ran an eye watering 4 hours. Now we know why they needed to hire another editor for the original version on film.
Well to be fair - the Justice League Snyder Cut is at least in my opinion way better then the cinematic version because it gives you closure on some things and shows you many many stuff that is what i consider "DC Fan Fodder" for DC Fans. Like we see some new Characters , have some names mentioned which a DC fan will recognize - and also finaly got confirmation about Martian Manhunter because he was only hinted at in Men Of Steel.
And those are just a few things we got with the Snyder Cut - there are way more!
I liked the Snyder Cut - but im also a Huge DC Fan so maybe im Fanboying too much :)
Now back to the OP about Army of the Dead ;)
I mostly agree with the OP about the Film - sureley i liked the Cinematography in the Movie and the Pace was what i call "Snyder Pace" - he has a different kind of style or lets call it narrative in his movies so the movie length didn't bother me even tough it could have been cut a little bit shorter because like the OP mentioned some scenes are utterly stupid or just illogical.
What i enjoyed the most was the "Bromance" between Dieter and Vanderohe - those Scene were fun, entertaining and most of the time i hoped those 2 would made it out alive - and maybe get some kind of Sequel :) - i mean we kinda got an Open Ending with Vanderohe tough - maybe they thought to made it this way because if they movie would be a huge succes they could kinda made another one ?? i don't know ...
Even tough the movie was not that good and has lots of flaws and illogical Scenes and Decisions i still kinda enjoyed it - for the most part (at least the Dieter/Vanderohe Scenes) - the ending or the last half hour was dreadfull tough - but yeah - overall an OK movie maybe even good if you do not think about it after or between the movie :)
PS: How in the freakin' hell did Vanderohe made it out of the Safe? that's another scene we never find out or is kinda illogical on his own because the "Götterdämmerung" (name of the Safe) should have been the Holy Grail Of Safes ? but yeah ...
I guess i realy underrated this card - never would i have thought that this would made it in a T1 Deck - at least in the first few days of the expansion :)
Yes Quests are Spells , like Secrets or Sigils - which also have not an extra type and don't realy need one i guess !
Cost Reduction does not work with the Quest - for example if the Quest says play an 8-Cost card it only recognizes the Cost you play it for - not the original cost. So if you have an 8 Cost card and reduce that to 7 it will not count as 8 Cost for the Quest.
Hope that helps!
Isn't this reported as a bug? Apparently the cost reductions for cards costed more than 8 wouldn't be considered in the priest quest but anything below that will look at the cost reductions. Reddit reporting, so take that for what you will.
That, i do not know ... could be a bug but if i remember correctly a Card that works like the Quest should always look at the reduction and not the original - could be mistaken of course
Well right now i would say i underestimated the card a little because right now nobody runs a silence - at least i haven't encountered one so the buff he gives is pretty huge!
This works wonders in Questline Shaman - not only is it an Overload Card and therefor helps you finish the Quest - it also works pretty well as removal and heal!
Yep, can confirm that too - just did the Achievement with Bolner into Kazakus and after Checking the Log , mine says: 523565/100 - hopefully once they patch it we will still have the achievement

Very nice even tough it is not easy right now because standard ladder is pretty fast :) - will still try to achieve this before they patch it.
Even tough i never tried to compete in one of these - i'll give it a go :)
Kazakus, Golem Shaper ?
I agree - it was pretty cool on day one but right now it is mostly to slow - even if you get the nut draw and have the Juggernaut early on - most of the time he comes down to late and even if it is early on the impact is most of the time not enough - at least right now! Stealer of Souls is what mostly closes out the game once i'm up against Quest Warlock - and in Combination with a Nightshade Matron that discard a Hand of Gul'dan is insane - so for me, the Problem would be Stealer of Souls.
Well even tough i only used her three times since i played the deck - she can be a lot of fun and very powerful. Made a DemonZoo List with her and so far it performs pretty well.
Right now im 10-2 - but the list is sureley not refined and from Day one.
One time i used her with coin on 5 and got pretty crazy Dragons - like a 1 Mana Alex for example :)

Did not know that but i guess the chances of ending a game as another class with Maestra is still pretty low - also i think it is not a bug !
Oh ok thanks - the Rogue and Warlock ones are new to me - haven't seen those so far!
But the Demon Hunter OTK is not new that was in standard before Stormwind.

You talking about standard or wild? because in standard i haven't seen a turn 6 OTK yet!
Oh ok, i did not know that! So far every spell i played worked but i guess i did not have a 10 or 9 Mana Spell discounted to 8.
I guess i realy underrated this card - never would i have thought that this would made it in a T1 Deck - at least in the first few days of the expansion :)
That, i do not know ... could be a bug but if i remember correctly a Card that works like the Quest should always look at the reduction and not the original - could be mistaken of course

He works pretty good in Handbuff Paladin so far!

Very good card!
