With the changes to core set Wandmaker has like a 66% chance to give you a secret. That plus whatever secrets you actually run in the deck and maybe Inconspicuous Rider could make it pretty likely to have a secret or 2 on turn 5

You aren't going to run into an deck that oppressive at low ranks because everyone using it is ranking up. The people who are using it and not ranking up are either so bad it doesn't matter what they play or don't have enough cards/dust to make the deck properly.

The build around requirement is very cool but there's no pay off. 5 random Paladin cards in a deck that already only has Paladin cards is basically a draw back. 25% of Paladin Cards are 1 cost, theres a bunch of specific deck build around cards like the Quest, Sir Finley, Immortal Prelate, Tip The Scales, and then finally Paladin has a bunch of garbage cards like Prince Liam, Bloodclaw, Nozari, and Light's Justice that you wouldn't want under any circumstances.

Wyrmrest Purifier exists and its super easy to tutor out with Call to Adventure so you don't really need to build a "no neutral" deck. You could just build a normal deck and include those cards and just make sure to play Wyrmrest Purifier before you play Lightforged Crusader....but like what deck would even want to go through that for....5 random paladin cards on turn 7

It could work with classes with Deathrattle synergy like Rogue and Hunter. Probably could also work with Pally with Shrink Ray,  Call To Adventure, Aldor Peacekeeper, maybe even Glowstone Technician

It's such a flexible way to protect your board. You can play it to get them to swing at you instead of a minion and you can play it right before your opponent plays a big removal to either get them to delay playing the removal or give you a minion on board after they play the removal.

Paladin cards for this set feel like they just took Paladin cards that were cut from previous sets and released them all without really caring that they didn't really synergize together or have a theme or even help create new decks.
