These changes are long overdue and very appreciated, but the more I play quest mage, the more I realize that sorcerer’s apprentice is the problem card. The quest is too easy to complete, but the fact that I can borderline kill someone with sorcerer’s apprentice and flame waker turn 4 has nothing to do with the quest. Out of the 10 matches I won today, 3 of them I won without even casting quest, thanks to sorcerer’s apprentice.
also, open the waygate is a wonderful change, since the requirement was far too easy to earn, and bloodbloom is quite possibly the strongest card they hadn’t nerfed yet. It’s effect is disgustingly powerful
Could be cute in some kind of silence build, but honestly the stats probably aren’t good enough to justify it, at least in wild. 8 mana needs to do a lo
As a wild player, I really appreciate that this wasn’t a mama increase. This will not affect its play in wild considering how many buffs you can throw on weapons. But a nerf for standard was probably necessary for meta health
Ironically every card you mentioned does not see any relevant play in wild, except maybe Dr. Boom. And he isn't broken there. Frankly Barnes is most people's frustration in wild, and mine as well
I think the sac pac would help, but they should just reclassify it to be a death knight. Then it’d be a good car
