precisely. They actually went full crazy in LoR. theres literally 0 reasons to spend money on that game unless for cosmetics. not to mention that when u actually pay money to buy cards u arent gambling on opening random packs
i like the fact that they went with the method of paying customers only get cosmetic items and a little bit of XP boost. theres no p2w factor, no additional packs or gold. its a good balance imo
EDIT: jokes aside i think it may be due to the fact they already have a reward system for those modes. although theres the casual mode in Duels right? interesting
i understand your pain. it costed me too to let go of my NA account which had full stacked Druid account which allowed the otk aviana kun combos in wild that i personally love. but overall my main account is older and has a lot more cards specially cause i bought many packs and all the adventures, so my wild collection is big and im still keeping up with the standard but on a lower note of course.
either way it had to be done and now with the new system it seems mandatory unless u have a lot of time on ur hands

why would an aggro deck want legendary minions? most are over costed and dont synergize with ur gameplan
