39 totalI really wish Goru gave treants +2/+2 considering it comes so late in the game. All things considered, I really want Treant Druid to someday be a reality and these cards push that dream.
That's a huge upside with a fairly substantial downside. This will be fun to try, but the downside might be too much for this card to have a major meta impact.
This has been arguably one of the most requested tech options in HS. Honestly never thought it'd get printed, but glad to see an anti-armor tech card.
Chronobreaker is a worse version of Duskbreaker. Then again, Duskbreaker was a busted card so there's still a chance Chronobreaker will see some play despite being nowhere as good.
I wasn't in love with Kaahrj when I first saw …
The downside of this card is that it doesn't actually do anything when it enters play. The upside is that you can drop 10/18 worth of stats for 10-mana. Control Handlock appears to have a lot of tools to play …
The Shaman elemental is a strong card. It's solid stat-wise as a 5-mana 5/5 and is another card that pushes Overload Shaman as a Standard archetype.
The Warlock legendary is a promising sign that Handlock with a solid Dragon …
Quest Hunter and Highlander Hunter play a few rush minions. I could see this fitting in well with either deck. It's worth noting that before the Doom in the Tomb event, Highlander Hunter was Tier 1 and Quest Hunter was …
A 3-drop with Rush and 4 attack that can thin your deck by drawing another Rush minion? This has a lot of potential for basically any Hunter deck. I'd actually argue that this card is better than Town Crier as …
Three dragons for 9 mana. One that's a guaranteed 8/8. This makes Highlander Dragon decks a lot more tempting.
I'm not 100% sure how it works with the Reborn, but I like the idea of HS introducing an exile mechanic (MTG players know the power of exile).
Khartut Defender: I am eternal!
Flik Skyshiv: About that....
There's going to be a Neutral Dragon legendary and my guess is that it's going to be Alex.
A 5-mana 5/5 Dragon with a conditional Hellfire. At worst it's an average minion, but if you meet the condition it's arguably 9 mana of value in a turn 5 play. This looks like Duskbreaker 2.0.
Nether Breath is …
It's hard to say whether these cards will be any good. Due to the new mechanic of Sidequests, it seems likely we'll only know when people get a chance to use them. Overall, I'm not blown away by the Druid …
Curious Glimmerroot saw play due to the strength of Raza Priest. When Raza/Kazakus rotated, it basically dropped off the face of the earth. Not sure Envoy of Lazul will see play upon release due to Combo Priest likely remaining the …
With cards like Springpaw, Masked Contender and Subject 9 rotating out in a few months, Hunter got some cards that compliment Highlander decks nicely. Kind of disappointed by the new Ysera, but randomly summoning dragons could be fairly strong if …
You're welcome! I'm glad you were able to reach Legend with this list. The inclusion of Zephrys makes sense with the 2nd Overflow (too bad you never got it to proc) because it's a good tempo play like you said. …
The second Overflow is interesting. It gives you another Garden Gnome/ Anubisath Defender activator and more card draw so it makes sense for late game match-ups.
Earthquake is a good card for Control Shaman, but sadly Control Shaman doesn't currently exist in the meta. It's also strange that a 7-mana AOE board clear was printed one set after Hagatha's Scheme, which is a 5-mana AOE board …
