Not sure if you checked the stats but Big Beast hunter is far from tier 4 competitively and it is by far the best play in the deck. Ichman ends games.
The stats are misleading because it is a 9 mana card and most games are decided before turn 9. You can only play him if you have already won by surviving. That's why Ichman's winrate is so high.
Loatheb is extremely helpful against quest hunter. And almost nothing can save this deck versus pirate warrior. You need all your board clears immediately to even have a chance. And then it will be ruined anyway by random Mr. Smite from the Juggernaut, haha. I hate current wild...
So this is the big beast Hunter is getting... Not that impressive. It has a lot of stats and two levels of taunt. Which is good, reminds me of Voidlord, a very powerful defensive card. But can you cheat him out early to protect yourself from aggression? I don't see a way. Playing this card on turn 7 won't really save you.
The effect is extremely weak because it relies on too many conditions that can easily go wrong. What if your opponent has no minions? What if his minions are too big to kill? What if you have already drawn your big beasts? What if you're already dead by turn 9?
It is an insultingly bad effect for a 9 mana card that requires a build-around deck.
Wow 9 mana defensive hunter card that encourages trading. Because you really want to trade a lot at 9 mana playing as hunter, the trading control-class.
I played 3 games, two of them were against pirate warrior who destroyed me completely with fun and interactive mr.Smite. I decided not to play anymore until it is nerfed.
It was my understanding that pirate Warrior was already really good, so why would they go and print this?
The devs are either clueless and incompetent, or they are intentionally making Hearthstone more frustrating by creating Tier SSS decks to make people suffer and hate the game. There is no other reason to give cards like mr. Smite to an already powerful deck. And not only mr. Smite, they made another super strong pirate for warrior in this mini-set. It is really absurd.
2 damage for 3 mana is just stupid. Why not buff the card to deal 3 damage then? Now it's ridiculously overpriced. Hate this change.

I'm pretty sure it is still a very weak card barely usable in a tier 4 deck. And it certainly does not carry anything.

Nothing for constructed? That's disappointing.
Can this be good against questline mage?

The card looks good. Weirdly, it doesn't have any actual synergy with your secrets.
Doesn't have to be control. Any warrior can get 15 armour easily. The card will probably be played in pirate warrior.
Meanwhile, King Krush is still 9 mana 8\8
And they expect big beast hunter to work in this expansion, funny
No matter what, this card will be in every priest deck (except aggro-priest obviously).
4 mana mind control is beyond broken.
I didn't expect neutral Defile on a stick.

Reviving King Krush will be nice. Now, if only he was a playable card...
9 mana haha

The card is released, and it is exactly as broken as people were afraid.
