If it works like Curious Glimmerroot (meaning you get 1 card from opponents hand and 2 random nonsense cards ) you will copy a card pretty much everytime. Problem is, even with Galakrond, what is your win condition as a Control Priest? Fatigue? Inner fire?
Depends. Are you Standart only? If so, Corrupt the Waters is a must, everything else in your list is pretty much meh to OK levels of playability and meta importance. For Wild tho... Zephrys the Great is a must for any Reno deck and Bazaar Burglary is destined to create some very strong deck. Pretty much it.
For some things you never mentioned, Untapped Potential makes quite cheap and effective deck, and Supreme Archaeology is used in expensive, but fun and unique Plot twist deck. Siamat is a perfectly above average Jack-of-all-trades legendary. But must craft? Nah.
Could you imagine that Yogg-Saron, Hope's End is competetively good card *again*? Well, he is. Puzzle Box of Yogg-Saron is actually a good card. Especially for 5 mana. Especially when cast 2-5 times. Hereby the deck :
Making Mummies looks really bad. Unless there is some cool unthought of yet combo, being forced to play about 10 understated minions in midrangy deathrattle deck is dodgy. Other than that... Hack the System + Fool's Bane is a funny Wild combo. Raid the Sky Temple is an interesting value generator, not good, but not bad either. Activate the Obelisk can probably enable some midrange tempo deck. Everything else seems fine.
Well, yes? And no? This deck is not an OTK DK with Reno in it. It is a Reno deck with OTK win condition, if that makes sense.
Banana Buffoon + Emperor Thaurissan+ Auctionmaster Beardo combo with full draw deck is definitely faster and more reliable. However, when building a Reno Pally, I ve come to the conclusion that Uther OTK is just best wincon against Control, since deck bullies aggro anyway. And Combo... I guess you can throw in some Dirty Rats and such, I just never felt the need to do so.
Just had a Reno big mage vs Big priest game. Did really good, rolled mass poly on 10 mana kazakus spell and single poly on 5 mana kazakus spell, was ahead in fatigue game, felt great. Meanwhile he played as a true Big priest gamer, used potion of madness on my mad scientist just to delay my ice block, entombed my sludge belcher, etc.
So. This piece of a bastard played 2x Thoughtsteal (main deck, btw, not even discovered), stole my Jaina, played it before me, and when I got the board and he was 2 cards deeper than me in fatigue... He played N'zoth, summonong 4x obsidian statues. Like holy shit, how is this even legal? Its not even a Barnes problem, Big priest just have too fucking much mana cheat cards for amount of value they provide. The only saving grace is adequate human cant play this deck without falling asleep, but even piloted by mentally challenged monkey it can still roll like half of the times. I just want this whole archetype to get Warsong commandered to oblivion, right where it belongs.
Funnily enough, the fact that it continues to draw from a larger and larger pool of beast minions, the card becomes harder to really be predictable and consistent.
Only two DK cards become harder to be consistent over time. Rexxar for the reasons mentioned and Thrall, Deathseer for the obvious reasons.
Was it ever really consistent? :) I get your point, but not like you could guarantee to get a poisonous Exploding Bloatbat within 3 tires or something :)
AFAIR, after Witchwood update, you had about 30% to have lifesteal/rush/poison+battlecry/taunt/something immediatly impactful. Before it was pretty much "craft a big dude" and if you are lucky, it had taunt. Nowadays it is more diluted, which is honestly great.
This card might actually be enough for Reno decks to see play in Standart... If only Bomb Warrior wouldnt exist. 10/10 for Wild tho, neutral Kazakus is great.
I think Flark's Boom-Zooka is just too whack of a card to play in Reno deck. Too many bad outcomes. Also Dire Frenzy and Revenge of the Wild can be a dead weight if your beasts are cleared. Maybe add a 1/3 lifesteal;rush or smth.

I would say this is better than Onyxia, since in a token deck I would trade 7 attack on 1 minion for ability to summon multiple boards everytime.
Welp, here we go
Well, looking back, a lot of legendaries from the early expansions seem questionable, even by "years ago" standarts
These all are actual cards someone decided people would play. I am glad they got better and trully worthless legendaries like or
are rarity.

Reno Pally is a whack. Everything else looks surprisingly playable

Happy Birthday! So, is new set any good? Anything particulatly valuable you are hoping to get?
Oof, I saw this one in a recent Trump vid. And although the deck looks subpar, I think a meme of actually winning with Void contract is worth it)
Obligatory negative comment, granting me right to downvote Sherman.
Now imagine 26 of these (atm)

I lowkey feel like Brian is actually trying to trigger everyone, showing as little as possible.
Looks insane

Wild player here. Card is insane, cant wait to play it.
