Beacause of Reno Mage already being good, that card will be playable. But... In my opinion it's a disappointment. Why? Old Reno was good enough to create a whole new archetype across several classes. I was expecting new Reno to be at least somehow close to that level. But Reno the Relicologist is JUST a good card. Nothing more, nothing less. Helpful in clearing small boards, low health minions.
If Reno Paladin will be a thing, new Finley will be played in it. It's good, it's an upgraded version of old Finley. It may win you some games with new hero power value.
But the question is... Will there be a Reno Paladin? I honestly don't see it being played in nearest future. Sir Finley of the Sands is not even close to being good enough to carry Reno Paladin on it's own.
Again, I never said 'nerf X, shit is OP, yo' - you are putting words in my mouth again.
Sure, my apologies, I'm just tired of reading forum topics about how X card is too OP and stuff. And most of them started with "Blizzard doesn't care" which implied that Blizzard doesn't do what they want.
The worst thing I read some time ago- some guy wrote that Blizzard should nerf good cards very often to change the meta...
Imagine this, you create a well performing deck, and after two weeks Blizzard posts "Okay guys, let's nerf some cards from that deck to ruin it, so you can play something else".
Curious if Team 5 even reads data like this or if they just bluntly do not care about Wild as a format. Probably the latter.
What do you mean the don't care?
They don't nerf stuff? It's actually good, because there is nothing OP right now. Did you see the report? 7 tier 1 decks?
The thing I hate most is the "if deck / card is good -> nerf it" attitude. That's what keeps me out of standard, all these whiny kids that want nerfs whenever they lose against some deck.
Good point, I forgot about Upgrade!.
A new midrange warrior with quest and weapons may rise. At least I hope so.
@griffior
I clearly stated that this topic is to discuss these cards according WILD and WILD only.
In order not to mess opinions with Standard.
I'm curious what's your opinion on new singleton cards added in Saviors of Uldum.
Considering Wild obviously.
In my view:
*Elise the Enlightened*
Nice value. And some combo potential. That's pretty much it. I don't see it being good enough to create Reno Druid.
*Dinotamer Brann*
Good addition to already playable Reno Hunter. Obvious 16 dmg potential finisher with older Brann. Besides it's good on its own.
7 mana King Krush that can immidiately impact the board. Plus free 2/4 body.
It's my favourite new singleton card.
*Reno the Relicologist*

*Sir Finley of the Sands*

Pretty good. Maybe even very good.
[Hearthstone Card (Rafaam's Scheme) Not Found] might see some play finally.
This is VERY strong addition to secret mage. I can honestly guess that it will be an auto-include card.
5 mana Fireball with 4/4 body. Strong burst with body... amazing.
The thing that wild Secret Mage lacks is - board clear.
This card seems to be a solution to dealing with small minions (murlocs, paladin tokens, zoo etc.)... BUT...
...Will there be enough space in the deck to include it? I'm not sure.
In some match-ups (Big Priest, combo & control decks), it would be a bit useless card.

Pretty fun quest, playable, I'd test it in wild with some deathrattles or end turn effects like Ragnaros, Lich King.
The thing is, we still need to get some good "reborn" cards, if they won't be good enough then... well dead quest.

Don't forget The Curator draw.
I wish there was a good Murloc taunt, he would draw 3 good taunts then.
These are fun decks I'd say, they definitely need some more optimization.
