We have a fresh set of patch notes for Whiteout Survival! The update adds in upcoming content for Mergeventure which is coming on November 6 in "eligible states", a gift feature for Furnace Level 13, and a ton more. Read on for all the details.

1. New Event: Mergeventure — A world of discovery awaits! Spend Merge Energy to activate generators and create Pieces during the event. Merge identical Pieces into higher-level Pieces, then collect the required Pieces to clear the fog and uncover new areas and surprise rewards. Use certain max-level Pieces to obtain Merge Coins or other items. Exchange your Merge Coins for rewards at the "Mergeventure Caravan". Complete Daily Missions and fill your Mergeventure Atlas as you explore, one merge at a time!
Please note:
(1) Mergeventure launches in eligible States on 11/06/2026.2. New "Gift" feature: Reach Furnace Lv. 13 to send Gifts to other Chiefs. Add a personal message to make each Gift extra special! Gifts let you connect with others and express yourself. They offer no combat stats/bonuses and cannot be regifted. Earn Gifts through daily activity, missions, and events, or meet specific requirements to purchase rare Gifts. Send Gifts to earn Gift Points, raise your Gift Level, and unlock exclusive rewards. Collect the Gifts you receive and display them on your Chief Profile and in your Gift Showcase.
Please note:
Within 48 hours after the update, we will send the following additional rewards to eligible Chiefs:
(1) Chiefs who claimed tiers containing newly added gifts in King of Icefield, Hall of Chiefs, Alliance Mobilization, Alliance Showdown, or Daily Missions between 00:00 (UTC) on the update day and the update will receive the corresponding reward difference.
(2) The "Arena of Stars" Gift to Chiefs who logged in and received the previous Arena of Glory season’s top 3 ranking reward mail between 00:00 UTC on the day of the update and the start of the update.
(3) "Exciting Showdown" x1 and "Arena Token" x100 to Chiefs who completed at least 5 "Arena" challenges on the day before the update and logged in between 00:00 UTC on the day of the update and the start of the update.
(4) Exclusive Gifts to Chiefs who claimed Prestige Merit rewards before the update. Each Gift will match the Frost Sphere level associated with the rewards already claimed.3. New "Popularity" feature: Give other Chiefs Likes on their profiles, in select events, and on leaderboards. Likes you receive add to your Popularity, which is displayed on your Chief Profile. Chief Profiles are also getting a fresh look to help showcase your activity and standout moments to other Chiefs.
Please note:
(1) Once the Popularity feature launches, Popularity will begin accumulating from Likes received after the update. Previous Likes will not count. However, previous Likes from Daybreak Island will count towards Popularity.
(2) Update to the latest game version to access all Like features. You can check your current version number in the top-right corner of the login screen.4. New Expedition Arena: Unlocks as your State nears the release of Furnace Fire Crystal Lv. 3. Expedition Arena and Exploration Arena will alternate each week. Set up your defensive formation, then challenge those of other Chiefs. Battles in this mode are based on Chiefs' Expedition stats and incur no actual losses. Win challenges to earn Arena Points, climb the daily and seasonal rankings, and earn rewards.

(1) The first Expedition Arena season begins on 11/02/2026.
(2) Pet Skills apply automatically to Expedition Arena lineups. See the Arena Formation Guide for details.
(3) Both Expedition Arena and Exploration Arena count toward Arena mission progress.5. New Expert: Royal Counselor Justus will soon join your City. As a former minister of the Solaris Dynasty, he is known for his fairness and wisdom. He once assisted Her Highness the Princess in establishing a safe haven and protecting survivors. Now, this advisor, well-versed in statecraft and governance, will provide valuable support for your City's development!

New Calendar Reminder feature: Eligible Chiefs can tap "Add Calendar Reminder" on the event screen to add the event’s name, start time, and end time to their device’s calendar. Available for Foundry Battle, Tundra Arms League, Canyon Clash, Bear Hunt, and Crazy Joe. Your device will notify you before the event starts according to your calendar reminder settings.
7. New "Chief Appearance" feature: Brand-new Prestige Appearances are coming soon! Chiefs with Prestige Benefits can open "Prestige Benefits", select the "Prestige Appearance" tab, and purchase "Emblem of Exquisiteness Packs" to obtain "Emblems of Exquisiteness". Spend the required number of "Emblems of Exquisiteness" to unlock the Prestige Appearance Theme of your choice.
Please note:
(1) Each Prestige Appearance Theme includes male and female versions. Unlocking the theme lets you switch freely between them. Each unlocked theme lets you activate its exclusive Skin Stat Bonuses and grants a permanent Profile Background Skin plus 8 exclusive animated emotes. The male and female appearances each have a unique entrance animation.[Optimizations & Adjustments]
1. Expert Optimizations:
(1) Agnes' "Efficient Recon" skill has been upgraded. Once unlocked, Chiefs can then use the Execute All intel feature.
(2) Holger's "Arena Elite" and "Legacy" skills now also provide combat bonuses in Expedition Arena.
(3) Free Trek Supplies can now be claimed daily at 8:00 and 20:00 UTC, with 10 Trek Supplies available each time.
Please note:
(1) Execute All currently does not support Bounty-level Beast Intel.2. Bear Hunt Optimizations:
(1) Hunting Trap Personal Damage Rewards: Adjusted the point ranges at higher damage levels and added new reward tiers.
(2) Hunting Achievement Rewards: Added new damage milestones and rewards above the previous highest tier.
Please note:
(1) If you participated in "Bear Hunt" between 00:00 UTC on the day of the update and the start of the update and meet the eligibility requirements, you will receive the reward difference corresponding to the newly added reward tiers within 48 hours of the update’s completion.3. Garrison Optimizations:
(1) R4 members can now expel their Alliance Leader's Garrison Squads, making it easier to adjust Alliance defenses.
(2) Added an "Expel All" button to the Building Garrison screen. The Alliance Leader, R4 members, and Captains with permission to send Squads home can use it to expel all Squads garrisoned in the building at once.4. New "Alliance Mail" feature: Once your Alliance reaches Lv. 5, Alliance Officers (R5 & R4) can open "Alliance Mail" from the Alliance Management screen to send messages to all members of selected Alliance ranks. Each message displays the sender’s ranking badge.
5. Custom Avatar Optimizations: You can now upload and save multiple Custom Avatars. Additional slots unlock as your Furnace Level increases. View, upload, and switch between your Custom Avatars on the Avatar screen.

Scout Mail Optimizations: Notification mail for both successful and blocked scouting attempts on you now provides clearer details and coordinates on what was scouted, with an option to go there directly. If the scouting Chief has violated the game’s rules, you can also report them from the mail.
7. When Loss Compensation activates, open "Back to the Top!" to review your recent troop and resource losses and information about your opponents. An assistance request will also appear in Alliance Chat. Allies can tap it to send support, helping you gain extra supplies and rebuild faster.
8. Garrison Info Optimizations: Your city and allies' cities now display the number of Chiefs garrisoned there. Tap on a city to view more details about the allied garrison.
9. Alliance Mobilization Optimizations: New missions involving Pets, Experts, and Fire Crystal Points will become available as your State progresses.

(2) Earn Fire Crystal Points by spending Fire Crystals, Fire Crystal Shards, or Refined Fire Crystals on building upgrades or Tech Research. The points earned depend on the type and amount of materials spent.10. Tundra Supply Station Optimizations: Added Weekly Chests with rewards you can claim each week.
11. Daybreak Island Optimizations: Added a new decoration, "Way of the Flower", to help you personalize your island.
12. Explore Optimizations: The leaderboard button on the main Exploration screen now shows "My Ranking" and the top three Chiefs, so you can check the standings at a glance.
13. Frostdragon Tyrant Optimizations:
(1) Raised the Dawn Honor level cap to Lv. 5, adding Lv. 4 and Lv. 5.
(2) The Combatants list now sorts primarily by the value you select: "Troop Power" or "Power".14. Foundry Battle and Tundra Arms League Optimizations: If your Combatant or Substitute assignment changes during sign-up, you’ll receive a notification the next time you open the event screen. The notification shows your assigned Legion and whether you are a Combatant or Substitute.
15. State of Power Improvements:
(1) Each State’s percentage share of the combined points will now appear below Today's Points and Total Points, making it easier to compare the two States’ progress.
(2) During the Revival Phase, you can now view the assistance you’ve received in the current event, including which allies assisted you and how many times each ally assisted.16. Chat Improvements:
(1) Cross-State Group Chats: Chiefs with a Furnace at Lv. 30 or higher in States that have unlocked Fire Crystal Lv. 5 can invite friends from other States who meet the same requirements. The Group Admin must also meet these requirements for the group to accept cross-State invitations. Once cross-State Group Chats are available, you can create up to 10 Group Chats and join up to 100.
(2) Added an "R4/R5" channel icon to the main screen. Alliance Officers (R5 & R4) can use it to view management chat separately.17. Collection Gallery Optimizations:
(1) Collecting standard permanent Chief Profile Skins now grants more Collection Points.
(2) The "Battlefield Tyrant" Decoration is now classified as a Special Skin and grants more Collection Points when collected.18. The Labyrinth Optimization: Your saved formations for each exploration area now carry over from week to week. "Quick Deploy" prioritizes the troop ratio saved on your Wilderness march screen, then assigns troops based on your current Troop Capacity and available troops.
19. Polar Terror Optimization: Reordered the Rally initiator’s special rewards on the Reward Details screen so you can more easily see how many times you can still claim them.
20. Spectral Ice Shack Optimization: The event screen now shows how much "Vivid Jam" you have left to use. Jam already spent in the current round is deducted immediately, even if the round has not yet ended.
21. Chief Order Optimizations: The cooldown for "Rush Job" is now 23 hours. The cooldowns for "Advanced Training" and "Dawn Alliance Commendation" are now 1 day and 23 hours.
22. Bank Optimization: The deposit period for the 5% Reward Yield option is now 23 hours.
Friendly Reminder:
(1) After this version update, Chiefs' next deposits will use a 23-hour deposit cycle. Earnings from deposits made before the update will still be calculated on a 24-hour cycle.23. Friends Optimization: After viewing a friend's info, returning now returns you to your previous location on the Friends screen instead of being redirected to the Chat homepage.
24. Visual Optimizations:
(1) Improved the visuals of the "Moon Bloom" Avatar Frame.
(2) Improved how Personal and Alliance Ranking Rewards are displayed in the Crazy Joe event.
(3) Improved the artwork for some Monument missions.25. Snowbusters Optimization: Added "Modded Rocket" x1 to "Snow Warrior Pack 2".
Please note:
(1) If Snowbusters was already open for you on the day of the update and you purchased this pack before the update, we will send you the additional "Modded Rocket" within 48 hours.26. Mark of Revival Shop optimization for Daybreak Island: Once the State reaches the required progress/age, Chiefs who have not yet unlocked the Harbor of Hope accessory can purchase the "Harbor of Hope Blueprint" from the Shop.
