In their latest news post, the Mythgard team announced what's coming to the shop this Black Friday, as well as a contest for new Featured Decks. They also officially announced their competitive scene, which they discussed in this month's dev stream.

Black Friday Deals

All pack and boards will be 25% off from 2 am PT on Nov 27th to 2 am PT on Dec 1st. This means you will be able to buy packs for 900 Coins or 112 Mythril (down from 1200 and 150, respectively), and boards for 300 Mythril (down from 400). 

An exception to this is the Grassy Fields board, which will be purchasable for only 25 Mythril.

Featured Decks Contest

Before December 4th, you can submit a deck list for a chance to be added to the Featured Decks rotation. You can submit your deck to this Google form. Here are the restrictions:

  • No more than 3 mythics, no more than 6 rares (6 total not 6 pairs)
  • You may substitute one mythic FOR two rares but the reverse is not allowed. IE. 0M 12R, 1M 10R, or 2M 8R
  • Decks should be geared towards 1v1 (though they’ll be usable in 2v2 as well).
  • An appropriate name
  • Decks must include cover art

Mythgard’s Competitive Season Starts in January 2021!

Mythgard’s first competitive season will start in January 2021 and include a $20,000 prize pool!  The season will consist of 6 ranked ladder seasons tied to 6 qualification tournaments.  The season will finish in December 2021, where the top 16 players will compete for $20,000 and the title of Mythgard’s World Champion!
