  • There's a lot of good taunt minions to attach this to.

Or even just straight up giving a minion +2/+2 for extra reach

  • Rammus

  • Straight out of my mind is Carnival Clown. With lightning bloom or innervate you'll never run out of a board full of clowns.

Or you can use this with Strongman and make 2 8/8 taunts for 2 mana

The possibility of this card is great, but because it costs 2 and provides a decent buff, its really likely just going to end up in some form of token/aggro druid. Most druid late game are excellent enough that this card is just overkill. Maybe down the line we'll see some mid game taunt minion that druid can really take advantage of.

I don't think it's overkill, mostly because of the strongman, I've played some fast corrupt druids and sometimes you end up with only 1 strongman for the turns you need it and this can be an extra one in that situation.
And if you don't need that extra strongman you have the extra Clown if needed

    • You don't really need more clowns you get up to 4 clowns in clown druid. Having more wouldn't really help you. The strongman combo is great though.

    • Mid game taunt minion... Did you just say Dreaming Drake?

      • could work.

        Overgrowth on 4

Corrupted Drake + this on 5

Get another one of the next turn

        • and the copy is already corrupted right?

          • yes, Corrupted cards count as seperate minions and don't revert to their previous state when they die or are being copied

      • I guess that's good. A really big boy with taunt is just about decent, but Im looking more for something with a good battlecry to go with it, or maybe even rush. There's still plenty of cards down the reveal line, so here's to hoping.

  • Would be nice to still have Lucentbark in standard for this.

  • I guess you get the buffed version on your hand?

    • It seems so. At least reading the text seems to be

      Buff 1/1

if target type is beast then add a copy of it.

I'll be surprised if it didn't work as this

  • Support for Greybough Druid maybe

  • I was just wondering if there would be taunt support this expansion and looks like i got an answer.

That tortollan spiky shell looks reallly cool i already like the card.

  • Fluffy indeed

  • CardID or NameBADCARDNAME

    Intresting

  • Now that's a nice handbuff card
