Although this doesn’t have a spell school, I think that all spells it casts will count as you casting it, so could potentially ruin your Hero Card Varden, which is a shame as it could be fun to run both. Would be happy to be wrong thoug
I wonder if this will cast more spells if you have sorcerer's apprentice on the board. I would assume not but it's blizzard
First time I saw this I thought "here we bloody go again", and then I noticed that this doesn't have a spell school, and is specifically limited to mage spells.
So its basically a Solarian Prime in theory, but I wonder if this is actually limited to spells that actually do damage rather than something like Conjure Mana Biscuit because all things considered, you can absolutely just highroll into victory because of this card, and wouldn't that piss everyone (Im already shaking) off.
I have to lament the fact that team5 persist in designing casino cards like these, but thankfully this isn't the same bs that was The Amazing Reno. You'd actually have to spend mana on this and chances are good you'll draw a ton of cards or clear, and really nothing much else.
Box of yogg was bad but fun. Willt his be fun and good? Perhaps time will show.
The "At enemies" part makes it seems like it could be only targeted spells? But I have no clue.
Mage - "And now, for my ultimate attack!"
*Pyroblasts Silver Hand Recruit*
*Pyroblasts another Silver Hand Recruit*
Paladin - "By the holy light!"
*Mage shamefully concedes*
ey, now i can die to 6 arcane inteletcs and a cram session, maybe just 10 cram sessions with some spell damage on board, who knows, fatigue damage always finds a way to get me
Back when Puzzlebox was in standard mages used it as a hail mary. This feels like the best sort of hail mary, as the worst it can do to you is overdraw compared to killing yourself with the puzzlebox.
The "At enemies" part is what makes this card insane. I can't wait for all of the highlights this card will give.
So I guess this only casts spells that can target enemies, so no incanter's flow and other things like that, but what about Blizzard, Flamestrike, Frost Nova and other AoE spells? They aren't targeted but they are cast at the enemy board.
Can't wait to play big spell mage in Duels, hopefully they get one more 6+ mana spell though.
The spells doesn't have to target enemies. I assume what "at enemies" means is that if the spell requires a target, it will prioritize enemies first. So any mage spell can be casted.
I Imagine it works like Solarian Prime, where if there is a target it will choose a minion.
More "random is random" for Mage... how Phresh.
Finally. A worthy opponent for the Puzzle Box of Yogg-Saron
and a worthy addition to the box !!!
But what if I told you that Rune of the Archmage can also cast Puzzle Box of Yogg-Saron?
Now, Rune of the Archmage can cast Puzzle Box twice. But Puzzle Box can cast Rune of the Archmage ten times. Puzzle Box superior.
And what if those twice Puzzle Box cast another 20 Rune of the Archmages? Will it makes opponent concede on the spot? :p
Well this...is certainly something...what it is I'm not entirely sure. It is so hard to assess this since the mana combinations are massively varying both in number and in efficacy.
Thanks, I hate it.
