Top 8 Results

Recap

The familiar duo was found on the top of the class pick charts based on OffCurve's stats, with Druid and Demon Hunter being the runaway winners of this tournament's popularity contest. As could be expected, Druid was also the clear winner of the class ban chart: Ramp Druid alone got three times the bans than the runner-up archetype. Warlock and Mage were left at the other end of the spectrum as their respective OTK strategies didn't get the trust of many of the participants, although neither's pick rate was particularly abysmal. Their winrates, however, were just that as their respective 45% and 46% make them the bottom two classes in Battlefy's stats.

Result-based Discussion

While China has usually been a powerhouse in Masters Tour events, this time there were no Chinese in the top 8, and only one in top 16 as well. APAC, on the other hand, had a strong performance with four players getting into the top 8, and Americas was able to get two players in too.

The tournament ended up being yet another Gaby masterclass, as the French wonderkid was able to replicate LoveStorm's perfect record from Masters Tour Onyxia's Lair by finishing the Swiss as the only unbeaten player with 8-0 record, and winning the next four games as well, becoming the Masters Tour Champion yet again.
