Casual Match Has Been Added to Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel - Play Just for the Sake of Playing, No Ranks or Rewards

A long-requested game mode has finally made its way to Master Duel. Players can now queue into games without having to worry about their ranks or level. Just pick a deck and start playing.

Another thing you don't have to worry about is rewards and mission, because you're seeing none of that! You don't get any rewards at the end of game, and none of your missions progress here. This will hopefully discourage people from playing meta decks in Casual, as it happens in most other card games.

What do you think of this new mode? Will you give it a try, or do you prefer your duels to have stakes? Let us know down below!

Just a guy with opinions video games who decided to share it with everyone against their will :P. I specifically like single-player games and card games, though usually not what's most popular at the moment.

Out of Games is an independent gaming site. Read about how we cover games.

  • It is so strange to me that the game didn't ship with a casual mode. Anyways, I am going to queue up with my competitive deck anyways lol

    • This is the game that just... launched one day. No build-up at all. Not really surprised by that.
