We've got a new featured location in MARVEL SNAP and it's Warrior Falls!
Warrior Falls is a completely new location being added to MARVEL SNAP as part of the November Season: Warriors of Wakanda. Warrior Falls has one of the most unique location effects in the game: at the end of each turn, it forces cards there to "fight," and the card or cards with the lowest Power are destroyed.
Warrior Falls seems to be incentivizing a commitment of at least one large card to hold down the fort against all comers. Namor seems like a perfect candidate for Pool 1 players as, left alone, he can hold his own against just about any single card not named Hulk or Devil Dinosaur. Or, if you feel like setting up a few smaller cards at Warrior Falls, you can either run Angela and use Warrior Falls to clear out more space next to her, or slap down an Armor and effectively turn the location's trigger into a neat little animation that does nothing.
However you choose to plan for the new location, you'd better get used to it; being a featured location means that Warrior Falls will have a 40% chance to appear for 48 hours, from 7 PM PT Tuesday night to 7 PM PT Thursday night (2 AM UTC Wednesday to 2 AM UTC Friday).
Ongoing: +5 Power if this is your only card here. Ongoing: Cards at this location can’t be destroyed.
What Are Featured Locations in MARVEL SNAP?
There are two different types of location events in MARVEL SNAP.
- Sunday's Hot Location that has a 60% chance to appear for the next 24 hours.
- Wednesday's Featured Location that has a 40% chance to appear for the next 48 hours.
This helps pave way for new deckbuilding strategies as you may want to be playing something else should the bonus better benefit cards you aren't playing with. We've seen this previously with the featured location, Monster Island, whose boosted appearances meant many players ran Shang-Chi to destroy the 9 Power Monster.
As announced in the developer livestream, MARVEL SNAP will be getting a brand new location every week and it will be featured when it is added, as we're seeing now with Warrior Falls.

Kinda hate this location, even though i usually won it
Looks like Colossus breaks this location. And by that I mean it takes FOREVER to decide what to do.
