"BOB, make an appearance in Hearthstone and DO SOMETHING!"
The flavor of this card and its effect! It's subtle but very nice! It's like a bartender in an old Western film who might pour (or draw) a beer and then slide the glass across the bar to who ordered it. Robo Bob is doing that, but sliding the Outcast card he draws you to the left side. I hope there is some kind of fun animation to match this bit of flavor too!
Love the Snake Eyes name and effect. Would be funny if there's a specific voice line on getting 2 1s
Oooh, dice rolls! This should be fun mechanic, assuming it's not a one-off.
"Digital card game means we don't need to flip coins or do dice rolls"
I don't remember who said it, but someone early on from the Hearthstone Team definitely said something pretty close to that. We've regressed!
Thematic is certainly cool though and I think it should be used again.
I like Naga with demon hunter, it feels good. I also love the flavor on Blindeye Sharpshooter.
Oh dear, they've completely lost inspiration for demon hunter. Even if those cards are good I feel like people just aren't gonna play yet another Naga deck with the boring Fel/weapon/attack synergy. Just like people weren't playing outcast demon hunter even tho it was good.
hey man i dont give a damn if no one else wants to play it outcast dh is still one of my favorite decks and sharpshooter is gonna bring a whole new level of execution to dh tempo decks that i am 100 percent drooling over
yeah I saw these cards and thought "Naga? what, is this just Sunken City electric Boogaloo? "
It's a new wave of tribal support, for a class that didn't have amazing Naga support previously even though thematically they should've.
People get so fucking weird about Demon Hunter. I swear, every time Blizzard does literally anything with the class, they're suddenly "out of ideas". Like, was the Elemental support that Shaman got "Un'Goro 2"? Was the Dragon package in Druid "DoD 2"? Seriously, what the fuck?
Definitely agree on this sentiment and also I feel naga should be the go to tribe for DH like how Shaman/Mage use Elementals. There is an intentional lore reason for this: Although he amassed an army of servants in the form of the naga led by Lady Vashj, Illidan's efforts were stopped by the night elves and he was forced to flee to the shattered realm of Outland. There he and his naga gathered new allies in the form of the blood elves led by Kael'thas Sunstrider and the Broken draenei led by Akama, and with their aid he overthrew Outland's tyrannical ruler Magtheridon to claim the broken realm for his own.
I know DH also use Demons but feels kinda weird seeing as the class's name is all about hunting demons.
BARS
You know, that's a valid point.
All the sport sites that get card reveals are like a Turn 1 Checo into Leclerc at your home circuit.
You had so much potential, but you've failed at the most basic of tasks.
It's super annoying but maybe it happened due to Europe's switch to winter time this weekend. We'll see in around 40 minutes I guess.
I've been dealing with 6 different primary timezones for the past 15 years on a regular basis. I can't give these sites any sort of break for it. Blizzard in the past gave me times in their timezone and in UTC which eliminates timezone issues if they can think ahead a few days. Poor planning by publishers.
Let's see if DH comes back from the dead or not. Bring on good Fel Spells.
