A new Planeswalker-themed event is live in MTG Arena for the next week and it doesn't even require deckbuilding!
- The entry fee is 2500 gold or 500 gems.
- The event lasts from now (Jan 10) until January 16.
- You can play as many games as you want during the event.
What is Planeswalker Momir?
Planeswalker Momir is Magic format that is unique to MTG Arena. It is a variant of the Momir format from Magic Online.
- You'll get a preconstructed deck made up of basic lands and Planeswalkers.
- Am emblem will be active called "Factory of Momir Vig".
- It allows you to Discard a card and create a token of a random creature with a converted mana cost of X.
- Your emblem may be used once per turn and only when you can cast a sorcery.
We last saw the format with War of the Spark (WAR) where your deck had 60 basic lands and 1 of each of the WAR planeswalkers (36 in total).
Prizes
Three prizes are up for grabs based on your wins in the event.
- 1st win: 1000 XP
- 2nd win: 1000 XP
- 3rd win: 1000 XP
